Just got an sc.. now some question on some repairs/upgrades
I got a white 96 sc.
Now i did a search on removing the emblems from the back.. but i couldn't find out if anyone that had removed them, had an outline from the suned areas.
I plan on leaving the L symbol and removing the LEXUS and the SC part.
If anyone that has a 96 or older and has removed the emblems.. and has pictures or can tell me if it left a mark.. i would appreciate it
Also.. There is a rip in the leather casing on the E-BRAKE. Does anyone know where i can buy one (other than a lexus dealer ship) and how much it would be.
Thanks alot guys
J

Hey I dont know about the debadging but I got the rip on my hand brake cover too. I REALLY need a new. If you ever get any info PLEASE PLEASE PM or something. Thanx
I think if you remove those emblems you can get the glue off with de solve it. I'm not 100% but thats what I'm reading everywhere else.
I havent really had the time but you may want to try and email BMA. They'll probably have it and if they do it will most likey be cheaper than from the dealership.

Should be the same as any other car. Heat it, take some fishing wire or something and saw it off. Search the net, lots of directions for shaving emblems. There are gonna be holes though.... Still gotta get mine fixed.....
