Default looking to do an a pillar gauge pod

i know i know, i used the search button and found a few threads. but i would like to see some pics of them installed in the car. im looking to do a dual pod. i bought an autometer dual pod but it looks like some modification would be needed. anybody use a pod that required no modification and was straight bolt on? or direct replacement for the a piller?

I am currently working on a three gauge pod for mine. I bought mine at advanced and the gauges fit percect. I trimmed a small portion of it for it to fit correctly. Its not time for it to be installed but will post up what i cut up. I am going to use two to three screws with vinyl caps to match the black interior. Should come out good. Will keep you posted.

u knw thats actually a cool idea but the point i want to make a gauge pod is to see the gauges haha...such as coolant temp. or oil temp, etc. i would do that to hold a boost gauge or volts but for something i need to see all the time (coolant temp) i would rather go with an a pillar. thxs for the input though

^^ exactly. i was overheating a couple weeks ago and my gauge was going hay wire. and i didnt know if i was actually overheating or if my sensor was going bad. so it was really hard for me to tell what was happening. thats why i wanted to go with an aftermarket coolant temp gauge so i can REALLY see whats going on.
