Question Clutch pedal broke??!!?!?

So today (thanksgiving) as I was driving to my families thanksgiving dinner my clutch pedal on my 95 SC300 5spd started feeling really weird and becoming harder and harder to shift
next thing I knew i couldnt shift anymore...so i pulled over and checked my clutch fluid lever and it was fresh and full..so i go to pull me pedal back up and it breaks off almost instantly..
has anyone ever heard of this happening to the SC 5SPD?
or where i can look for a new pedal?

idk, the clutch pedal has the dealership part number on it - clearly it was replaced.

look at the mkiv supra pedal, the pedal is more stout, clearly toyota realized the weakness too.

If you get the MK4 pedal you will need the bracket with it .

The MK4 pedal is made out of aluminum , so i don't think it's a good idea.

Just buy a new SC pedal cheaper on your pocket anyway and enjoy.

I had an MK4 on my previous SC , i only went with the SUpra pedal and bracket because i had a good deal on them from toyota.

thanks for all the feedback guys
so today the replacement pedal came in and I got installed
at a lexus dealer here in norcal total cash for pedal was $105.83
And it was a clean break, so its really hard to tell if it broke from the front or back. But what i can tell you is that it broke right next to the small spring up where the pedals arm bolts in.
Could anything besides a heavy foot have caused this to break?

This happened 2 years ago already and it broke down in front of a mercedes dealership so they pushed me in and welded the old one..either they didnt do a good weld job or the pedal is just poorly made...anyhow I have the new pedal on and so far so good..Im going to take it easy on the hard shifting and well see what happens in the next yr or so.lol
