Default Well here it is my first sc400 whadya think?

Well the day is finally here I finally on my very own lexus sc400. Apparently the color is platinum but me and my friends have had a debate about that you guys can decide for yourself.
I could we do not need a vehicle for myself what I wanted to get 1 and it was a great deal.
so much to my dismay I will not be driving it this winter to save it from 1 more new england winter of salt, gravel, and sand, but will be storing in my grandmothers toasty garage. Of course I will go over there and done it once or twice a week to make sure it doesn't sit too long. In the meantime I'm saving on insurance as well as other expenses for christmas. Anyway I tend to ramble so without further adieu you have a lovely pictures. Let me know what you think

Its a 97 as a matter of fact.

Guy who owned it garaged it every winter and took real good care of it.

Odd that theres an influx of these in this color

Welcome. Looks like a great platform to start with.

And you can use tags for your links, [IMG] url link [/IMG} so we don't have to click them individually.

Not really a upgrade, but I'd start with giving a thorough detail...wash and wax, interior vac, etc. With those miles, and the condition I would prioritize what you want out of your car. Are you going for luxury sheek or a track ready street bruiser? Word of advice, take your time with whatever direction you decide to go with. Our cars can get pretty expensive over time. Look around on the forums-you should be able to find some really good deals from other members here. There is also a lot of D.Y.I. write ups here, use the SEARCH tool. Or look at the 4th STICKY on page...
Good luck, and have fun!

Steve

This is a very nice, its seems well maintaned car. I would go through the car and do the maintence first. This is always the priority. Spend the money where it needs to be spent. JMO. Welcome to CL

Great clean SC. Should've gotten a '98-'00 though. Just my opinion. VVT-i, 290hp, gated shifter, heated perforated seats, smaller steering wheel('99-'00)....
