Dam 800 is a hell of a lot, I was wondering !! 800! Jeeze, shocks and springs don't even cost that much. Buddy w/ a garage in his house can do it for me for 120CAD! Most places here charge 250-300CAD. Must be nice to have money like that to install springs (Use to, school has sucked my $$$ dry this year)

Well, husband and I both work full time and the standard of living in Silicon Valley is higher than elsewhere. Our income doesn't keep 1:1 pace with it, but it's better.

$600 seemed a lot to me too. But that's a typical rate around here according to what I was quoted.

A lot of places here will charge you up to $200 to mount and balance tires that you didn't buy there. If you buy the tires from the same shop, it's cheaper, but not by a huge amount.

Just the way it is.
