thank you everyone for all the support, its deeply appreciated. The hard disk drive crashes are quite common from my experiences with my parents and in-laws security system. I dont know why sometimes when the drive is full and they clean themselves up for more recording time they have disk drive errors and there are no warnings on the display monitor until you try to use the playback option. Its just a rough time that suddenly became more tough. His daily driver is in the shop undergoing some major repairs and he has the SC stored in my backyard because he never leaves it on thr street. He was putting in lots of overtime for the repairs on the sentra and is forced to drive the SC and this happens. At least he has his health and strength and lots of support from family and friends. Thanks again for taking the time to make a difference.

Too bad none of that does anything if you manage to turn the ignition switch. If he had a good alarm, or one that was recently installed I would look into that. There are thieves that install
alarm systems. Also if its a cheap alarm it doesn't do anything, sometimes you just unplug the brain and it starts i've seen it a bunch of times on those autopage alarms and similar crap. I don't know what I would
do if someone stole my car like that, it has to suck really bad. I hope you get most of the car back.

This is the reason I just got out of the Honda game, so I wouldn't have to worry about my car getting stolen. I hope we don't see more lexus stolen.

Some ppl just have to **** all over everything for others... But ya its prolly bein parted stealing anything custom as a whole would be dumb. Sucks about security system tho. Good luck!

Oh shoot! I saw that SC in Linden on Saint Georges ave just the other day! I hope its found quickly, there arent many around here like that. I'll definitely keep an eye out.
