SC300 stolen Newark NJ
Hello and good day to everyone. This morning my brother's SC300 was stolen in the newark, nj area and i'm just trying to help him out and put the word out there to help out fellow law enforcement. It's a 97' Black SC300 with a 2jz-gte swap, automatic with Florida tags that read "SC300TT". here are some pics. Your help and efforts is much appreciated and thank you all in advance.

additional info
The badges on the back are the oem lexus badge, the lexus symbol and it says "Soarer GT-T" on the top right. Along the front fender had badges that read, "HKS, Tanabe, Greddy, and Apexi". The wheels are MRR GT-1's. Any info on anywhere else i can post this to access more viewers would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again.

it was stolen in newark, nj... right in front his apartment. He got home from work around 12 last night, he seen the car there before bed at 2:30, woke up at 6:30 again for work glanced at the security camera before showering and went into shock when he didnt see the car. Would you believe the hard disk drive on the security system was corrupted so playback was not possible. Thanks for the insight on the local section SCSHINOBI. I will post a thread with the link to this one.

I'm located in Elizabeth, next town over, I'll keep an eye out. I barely see SCs out here so it'll be easy to spot if I come across it.
Getting mine soon, hope I don't have to start worrying now...
Good luck though man

your best hope is its a joyride ,spur of the moment theft and maybe it turns up in a few days.
Sc's have a pretty good anti theft system and immobilizer, they would have to be pretty godo to get around that .

i appreciate it that steve, we need all the luck we can get.
@ durps i hope when you get your sc you never have to go through something like this.
@ *****, i was thinking the same thing about the oem security system but then again im not sure what's bypassed in the harness or what could be cut out or whats still incorporated when you do a motor swap, maybe the oem security could have been compromised if any custom work was done to the harness.

^^^im not a pro at this stuff by any means but yea man with engine swaps and that sort of thing alot of things are changed and compromised.
Your best bet is to at first look at the usual suspects, a car like this with a special engine swap and whatnot , most likely its some one your brother knows.
The may also know specifically that the cars immobilizer has been compromized.

You're a lot more likely to see PARTS of it in the near future. If that car is not in pieces in 24 hours I'd be amazed. There is no other reason to steal a modded car than to GET the mods.
