Hey everybody, I'm from San Antonio, Texas. I've been lurking on this board for a few weeks and really like it. My sister bought this 99 SC300 a few years ago and now I've bought it from her a couple months ago. Its quite a nice improvement from the 86 Corolla I had been driving.
It has seen some neglect and poor work and needs a little attention in some areas though. I'm looking forward to finding a lot of useful information and advice here!

Just bought one with 100k for my son for school/college, 1 owner, immacualte car hence the $8000 price i guess from the dealership...
Not a ding, yet.....
FLSH up to 80k then the last couple of years it must have been worked on elsewhere...
Runs/drives great right now, did oil change and alignment for him at dealership here in TX
Should i do the timing belt and pump yet or as its the inline 6, just wait a bit, it could have been done but im not a mechanic, cant tell...
i have a 98 GS460 and love it.
Thanks for any suggestions
Mike

Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Matt and I'm from Mineral Springs NC (Near Charlotte.) I've just purchased my first Lexus, a 2000 SC300 black with ivory leather. It was a one owner, very well cared for local car with 90K on it. I'm really liking the car so far. I've owned BMW e46's for the past 10 years so its been a little bit of an adjustment. But coming from the world of BMW ownership I'm looking forward to the reliability of a Toyota product that is second to none.
So far the only mods I've done is tint the windows, I put on a set of Falken Hanabi rims that I had laying around which came off my 93 MR2 (with new tires of course) and removed the VCR sized telephone that was hard wired into the center console. Thank goodness we now live in the world of Bluetooth!

Holas, and all that good stuff
I am new to the lexus club, but have loved the SC for a long time. FINALLY got my hands on one of my own! I have a 92 Gold exterior / tan interior and yes MANUAL transmission!
I plan on keeping it simple and clean looking. Still on the hunt for a full lip kit ! so fresh and so clean is my motto ^_^

Hey everyone. My name's Stephen. I've been drifting for years and recently sold my s13 to upgrade. I picked up a 95 SC300 to start tearing in to. I'm a tech at Lexus and I look forward to the info sharing and everything else that goes on here. See you guys around.
