Picked up my '94 SC300 a few months ago and promptly drove it from the west coast to the east coast. It now has 160,000 miles and runs beautifully - I can't believe how solid these cars were built. Totally stock but it will get some new rims soon.

The other day a guy asked me what make of car it was and if it was new. Ha!

Default Hello there from SLC

Hello there everybody, I recently traded a Buick for my new love, a 93 SC400 in the sandstone metallic (pictures to come soon), needs some work on the body and transmission (mostly) but it is what I can afford on wal mart salary. It has been my favorite car so far, because it is so well equipped, and the style is great.
Will slowly be fixing it up and definitely looking to do some tasteful mods and upgrades, I have just been googling and going through the results but all the answers seem to be here anyway, figured I'd just sign up and put in my 2 cents when I can.

Default New to Fourm

Hey all on CL.. I am new to the fourm but not new to cars.. I love almost anything with an engine. I'm almost 23 years young. I work for Infiniti of Denver as a Service Technician (mechanic for short lol).. I worked for Mile High Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi before that.. Any who I do have pics of the 1993 Lexus SC300 I just purchased however I am witing for an e-mail containing them.. So I should be receiving the e-mail by saturday at the latest, and will post them accordingly.. His name is Luther.. LOL Lex Luther and he is Silver Spruce Metallic.. The car is a "HE" because I don't know any "HER" with that much ***** ... Anyway I have multiple cars and bikes and as a mechanic tend to run throught them like water.. Got any questions ask. Oh and I am currently attempting to pick up a night job to "fund" the Lexus.. Thanx to all that read this.. and yeah I'm sure we will be chatting sometime in the future

Hi. My name is Jennifer and I am from Florida. I am new to the Lexus family. I just purchased a 1995 SC400. We are working to get it running stock. Over the weekend we changed the starter and had to put in a push button start. Changed both window regulators and put in new plugs and wires. Things to be done still are change the hydro fan to an electric fan, the stock fan is leaking from the hose, figure out if the heater not working is related to the engine overheating, A/C repair and oil change. Hopefully that will be all we have to do mechanically. Then we can move on to the cosmetics of the car. This forum has helped out so much over the weekend! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

hey guys im new, actually just bought my SC300 today its still not even insured/registered, i mean if it was i wouldnt be here right now if you know what i mean. its a 93 automatic with 139,XXX miles. has a k&n intake that came on the car. everything else is stock (according to the seller.) one quick question, is the suspension supposed to be super stiff stock? i mean isnt it a luxery car? its the stiffest car ive ever rid in and thats including cars with coils and sport shocks/dampers.

future plans (im sure this will be super original too) 1JZ swap (i told you) coilovers, roll bars, a bunch of carbon fiber bits, some wheels, and all the other basic goodies. i do plan on keeping the stock turbos when i do the 1jz swap. id like to set the car up for some light drifting since there isnt much else to do here. but yeah i love my car, its actually my first and i got it for $3900. cool thing is i bouhgt it from a guy who works at a shop that specializes in toyota's. the owner is currently rebuilding a 4th gen supra and is almost finished. im hoping they'll hook me up since i bought it from them and the guy i bought it from had the same plans for the car.

pictures from craigslist because i dont have a camera.

my SC300

Default New on here, well kinda

Hey I have been a member here for a while and just never introduced myself...

I picked up my '94 SC300 a few months back, saved it from the crusher and have been bringing it back to life. You all have been a huge help with any odd questions I have had so thanks!

Here it is before the wheels were powder coated. Don't mind the multiple shades of beige, I'm working on that too. Lowered on BC coils and I built the fireball replicas... more on that soon!
