Long time Lurker
Hello everyone. I've used this forum for years as an index for almost everything I've wanted to know about my car. You all have been very helpful without even knowing it. So thank you all. I love my SC, I bought her six years ago with only 45k on her, got her up to 125k now with no issues other than regular maintenance. Everywhere i take the car people want to talk about it, even the cops at a roadblock last night. With a few choice, clean and classy mods i think she"ll attract even more attention. Now that I'm actually going to start some light mods on my red 95 i thought I'd start to share. So thanks again and more post and pics as the project gets going.

A new and "old" SC300 owner
I have "rejoined" the ownership ranks of the SC club. I have been given back my coveted 1992 SC300 by my son who acquired it in 2001.
He had to park it outside up until late 2008 and when he bought a new car (January '11) he gave it back to me. It had been once again parked outside for the past 6 months (so we could make garage space) and I finally took it back in late July.
The a/c was shot and the interior was a bit worn especially the steering wheel cover. The infamous trunk struts were shot for a long while as well. The car speakers have some crackle on a couple of the speakers.
After a detailing and a new wheel skins wrap for the steering wheel the interior is doing okay. The a/c was repaired 2 weeks ago and I am on the hunt for a new gps/stereo touch screen unit to replace the aging radio/cassette deck (never had the trunk CD changer).
Good to be back and look forward to reading the many forum topics on this great car ( sorry, never have been a fan of the SC430.....).

What's up everyone! I've been lurking the forums for a little bit before I finally got my 1999 SC300. Trying to get some ideas for her, got a few things in mind right now, she's totally stock, 117K miles, a few minor cosmetic blemishes, but overall, very clean. I moved up from my old Chevy Cavalier Z24 convertible (98z24ragtop on most other forums). It was a fun little first car, and I do miss it, but every time I get in the SC, I miss it a little less... haha here's a quick pic of that:
Anyway, on with the pics:
hellasunk, lol
the coloration doesn't seem right... oh well
