So here I am proud owner of a brand new project sc300 ( new to me) I usually build Honda's but ran across this screaming deal 1000$ did a little checking found out with a little work this car is a 500 plus HP beast... after some preliminary tests car has blown head gasket (wow she runs strong under these conditions) anyway proud to be a Toyota convert sad to part Honda but I won't be looking back. Nice to meet everyone thanx for having me.

How's it going CL? I've been lurking around for a little while now and I recently bought a 92 sc300 factory 5 speed model in garnet pearl. From what I've seen there is a lot of good info on the boards and I hope I can one day contribute.

Hey yall. I'm new to this forum as a member. I've lurked for weeks to convince me to buy an SC400 over the SC300. Before that I was considering the Acura CL, and early 90s thunderbird.

I definitely made the right choice. Its got almost 200k on the odometer but I want to add another 200k. My other car is an 88 MR2 and will probably last just as long. I'm a noob so feel free to teach me and correct me

Default Hello

Hey,
My name is Brett and I live in md. I have been searching around the forum for a couple of months now in doing research for a sc build, ofcourse I still don't know if I want a 1j or 2j. There is a wealth of info on here and everyone seems to be quite helpful. I am an Audi tech and have built some decent cars, dsm first (wrong wheel drive) and a fc rx7 with a sbc that did a little work. thanks for all the wealth of knowledge and I going to continue about my searching

Contradicting isnt it...First things first, Maintenance...after that, its your decision. Whats your goal with the car? Power? Looks? Comfort? Then comes the question, how deep are your pockets? Too many variables for anyone to answer that question. Common mods are exhaust, suspension and BFI. After that, wheels, paint/body, interior work...OR, na-t, gte, LSx, then the previous.

Brett-

Hello, my name is Brer and I used to be an Audi-holic. Had a 03B6 I had to give up, and I miss her lots (her name was Mike, pronounced like the girl in Eurotrip). But she had water-pump issues, oil leaks, coil packs, the whole nine. If I could have kept her, she'd still be the daily and the Lexus the toy.

Love that Dolphin Grey Metallic paint, though. And one of these days, I will own an RS4.

Off topic I know, and I recognize to the CL... but just welcoming a fellow Audi-holic to the boards.

Default Allow me to Introduce myself

Hello fellow SC drivers. I just purchased a 93 SC300 about a week ago. Loving it so far. This will be my first car I mod and I'm hoping to learn more about the car from you guys. Pics will be posted later.

Specs:
5 speed manual
Lowered on Espelir springs and Tokico shocks
GS430 wheels with Falken tires
roof spoiler
tint
These were installed by the previous owner.

I plan on getting new wheels, coilovers (maybe), brakes, strut bar (maybe) and sway bars. I don't think I'll be doing any major horsepower mods. Intake, exhaust and ecu upgrades at most. I'll be searching the forum about the outcomes of each mod I want to do. Thanks!!
