hello friends, my name is Raul. I recently have an MR2 Spyder i am currently selling because im in the market for an SC300=) I use to be a huge is300 fan but something just drove me strait to the SC. I believe its just the overall power and class it carries and potential. I originally came from the 240 realm as I had a fully built S14. Ive already got plans and ideas id like to carry for my future sc, so meanwhile ill be here doing my research as I have been for a couple months now and enjoy the creativity is shown here at CL. I like the people here instead from the spyder and nissan forums. But, I hope to be part of the group so wish me luck and glad to be here in the forum.

Whats up club lexus the name rafael and i live in santa fe nm . I am a supra freak and have always wanted a sc300 and just got mine a week ago its a 92 white auto sc300 and i have huge plans and for those plans to come reality im gonna need all the advice and knowledge i can get and where better to be than club lexus. So thanks in advance for having me and look foward to meeting some of you guys ..I also own a 87 turbo hardtop r154 supra

Hi, my name is Steve from northeast Texas. I recently acquired a 1993 Lexus SC400. The car is black w/ gold package. It has 209,000 miles, & seems to run very good. Things the car need are suspension repair [lower control arms], brakes, oil pan gasket,rear end housing seal,etc......All of these items are simply milage due repairs,although proving to be rather expensive! We had the car up on a rack doing a inspection & noticed all the silencers on the exhaust system [3] I had those removed & new pipe welded in & wow!! Awesome sound w/ factory mufflers!!! To me, the lines of this car are timeless. I fell in love with it. It will be a beautiful sexy beast for many years to come. Kickass Nak stereo best I've ever had.Imagine a 53 yr old fat man crusin w/ Slim Shady thumpin!! [me.lol] Interior is very nice w/ front seats having been re-skinned. To me,it's almost a Japanese Vette. I am a working man & have to crawl before I walk..........but I plan on keeping this one for a long time. I paid 3 g's for the car. Thanks in advance for havin me here folks!

Hey fellas. im new here. actually a lurker. I recently registered to pick up some parts for my gs300 which became salvaged after getting "front ended"....yea dumb story lol.
anyways i was gonna fix or pick up the gs300 as a new chassis but i just cant let go of coupes so

My Intro!
Hello, I am new to the Lexus world with my recent purchase of a 1992 SC300. I am a car enthusiast and love wrenching on cars. Also a perfectionist when it comes to fabrication and details of a car. My previous ventures in automotive restoration have been mostly with Nissan's including 1992 300ZX TT, 1996 Silvia S14. Before imports I was big on classic domestics like 1968 Chevy Impala and 1970 C10 Custom. But as I was looking for my next project I stumbled across this magnifesant machine at a steal!! My new SC (new to me!) only had 120,000 miles, minor imperfections and an awesome 2JZGE! I researched this beast and found a lot of interest in it! I took a 5hr bus ride to get to it in Minieapolis MN to get to it! As soon as I got it I started my pursuit to find parts and have fixed some of the major problems that it had including the infamous black screen of death on the climate control unit, a new radiator, HID 10000k conversion, auto start, 7in in dash 2din touch screen ect. Hello my name is Anthony and I recently just bought a pearl white 1992 sc400. It is my 3rd car after a 89 240sx and 96 328i. I have been into Sc's since I seen them in the D1GP days. I have plans to put a body kit and wheels first.. then suspension and finally performance. At least my father and I own a body shop so I will definitely save money in that department =D. I have come here to gather some opinions and ideas so I know I can do my car right and not get ripped off in the process. I will post some pics soon on how the car looks now because there is some damage, nothing major, and i will also post pics of when it is painted with kit and wheels on.. Good luck folks with your cars and I hope U enjoy them as much I will xD

Welcome to club lexus,but showing your other cars whats the use,you say you have a sc-300 but why didnt you post pics of that, not really interested in old supra's, OR SLOW S14'S in other words stop waisting up space with crap photos that have nothing to do with Lexus..CAPISH!!!!

Hello everyone my name is Bryan and im 16 with a 1993 sc300 on stance gr+ coilovers with matte black xxr521 rims (18x8.5f 18x10r) on stretched toyo tires in the rear and kumho tires in the front, i have a dual 5zigen 4 inch tip exhaust and im about 3-4" off the ground with -4 camber all around
i will post some pics, some may have seen my car before because it used to belong to my friend Roy who i bought it off
My story is the day i got my permit i wanted an sc either 300 or 400 cause my grandfather has a 400 and i fell in love with it, mom said no cause its "luxury" , 6 months later i moved in with dad and he said go ahead and chose any car, i found roy and next day that car was mine
So far its been the most amazing 6 days in my life with this car, just a stunning machine

Bryan, that's hilarious about your Mom. Mine told me when I was 17 no sports cars until I got my own insurance. Bought a TA after my 20th birthday- props to your old man for encouraging you (or corrupting, depending on your perspective).

new SC499 owner and question
My son and I buy fix and flip cars to pay for our racing addiction, We recently found a 92 SC400
locally the car had been sitting for a couple years, after the mans daughter ran over a dog that went under the nose bending the rad support and damaging the ac and radiator. otherwise the car is not bad some paint scratches from a tangle with a fence but otherwise OK. We managed to buy the car for $500 and had to replace the fuel pump drain and clean the tank, rebuild the radiator support and replace the broken units. total cost thus far is $725 and we are going to go get the rest of the miss parts it needs to fix the windows and a few other small issues today total there will be
$240 so we will be in the car $965. but now My son has decided he wants to keep the car. it has
140k on it seems to run and drive great, was one of those pre owned cars sold by the dealer with 120k on it and we have the paper showing over 2k in repairs were done then. My question and I am sorry for the long post but I want to know if you all think that this will make my son a good car or will it nickel and dime him to death keeping it up and running?
