The names brian bought a 94 sc300 2jzge na. Love it to deathvneeds alittle tlc but willing to put in time. Bought the car for 1200 needed a water pump so did that the timing belt and tensioner was replaced also started it up and was pouring out white smoke all my friends were convinced it was a hg but i had faith that it wasnt read some threads on here that pertained to my symptoms and found out it was my ecu. Bought an ecu and it was running like a dream went sliding a couple times with the boosted 240s and i was greatly suprised as everyone else that the sc slid so well being auto. But now my ecu went out again so its getting way to much fuel but other than thatvi cant complain. I think the car has tons of potential

Hey everyone my names chase and I own a 92 sc400 with 149k miles. I have lowered it, got some 10k hids and stripped the factory wheels. I have been wanting a sc for about 3 years now. I previously owned 2 mkiii supra's with the 7mgte and r154 trans. I wanted a sc300 because the 2jz is run of my favorite engines , but got a great deal on the sc400. I plan on stancing the car and doin a manual swap in the future.

Whats uP Lexus heads! My name is Cheek and I live in Plantation florida. I just bought a black 92 sc300, automatic, lowered with 19" wheels. Just put in a 1jzgte engine. Car runs fast and smooth. This car is a beast and handles great on the turns! Right now I have the original dual exhaust set up and I plan on changing to a single exhaust with a 3" pipe ( might go with Greddy). Mechanic also hooked me up with a Greddy blow off valve; sounds sweet when I punch it. Still debating what type of sound system I want to go with. I will be needing some helpfull hints and advise from time to time and I heard this was the place to be. I will post a pic of the Car and the Engine within the next few days.

I'm loving this engine! I need to clean her up a lil.. Still have a few minor touch-ups here and there. Just wish I would have gotten one years ago

I have a bad exhaust leak..I should be getting fix soon... The tail light sensor in the cluster stays on but all lights work... I need a new lowering kit because the torch springs are killing my alignment.. Im looking for new mufflers but dont know what to go for..and I need a tune up...

Hey guys, my name is Keifer just bought a 1992 Lexus SC-300.
It's Black, a 5-speed, and completely stock under the hood save a K&N Air Filter.
It's sitting on 137k miles and I just bought it yesterday.

I know I'll have to replace the timing belt in a few thousand miles as preventative maintenance, there is also a small transmission leak at a gasket where the V of the transmission meets. And a few other minor fixes. The car runs fine, and I've had my eye on these cars for the past 3 years but fate dealt me a cruel hand until now.

Joining the forums to pick up some knowledge about the car, any common problems and easy fixes that this community may be able to help me with and hoping to be able to diagnose simple problems before they turn into big ones. My last car was a 2000 BMW 528i Wagon, and I loved it to death. The biggest thing about owning one of those was keeping up with the maintenance and fixing them before they break, and I'd like to keep doing that with this car as well. I hear these have the kind of reliability where I could run the car up to 200k+ miles without blinking an eye if I handle it right. Anyways I'll stop before I type up a damn novel. Glad to be here, and this seems like a great community to join.

Hi all! My name is Kris and I just purchased "Speck" this week. She is a 1995 SC400, rembrandt red in color, 190,000 miles and truly a diamond in the rough. Her former owner quite obviously liked to abuse her on a regular basis, lol, BUT upon sitting in the driver's seat for the first time I fell in love with her. Definately going to be a lot of blood, sweat, and tears bringing this beauty back to life but I am looking forward to it! The engine seems solid, but have several mods to make to her. Wish me luck as I will be very busy over the next few weeks scouring the internet, salvage yards, etc for parts and revamping this neglected SC400.
