Hi my is Ragga just purchased a 1992 SC400 110K from a local dealer.
The car is a beast! I will take some pics soon, I want to take it to a dealer for a complete overhaul to get started on fixing it up.

hey guys this is lexusbozo. i just wanted to say wassup. just picked up a 92 sc, what do you guys recommend for first mods. the sc is bone stock right now.

First Mod?? A thorough tune-up. Don't mod anything until she runs like new. Then worry about changing things.

Just kidding! Anyway, my name's Cory and I just found this site a few minutes ago. I joined the lexusownersclub.com forums a few weeks after acquiring a '98 SC00 (black) back in May, and somehow I overlooked you guys. I don't have any pictures yet, but that's just as well considering how dirty my car is right now (just got back from a 1000 mile trip... one wash wasn't enough). I need to do a detail though, so hopefully within the next week or two I'll get some pics for you all to ogle at!

hi the names Derek i just bought my first car and it happens to a SC 400 i love the car it just need some tlc but im so glad i made the chose to buy the car my parents want me to buy a honda well i went against them and it was one of the best choices i have made

 

New to CL. Been doing a lot of reading but never joined. So today, I decided to sign up.
I bought my first sc a couple of months ago. First of all, I'll tell you guys about my 92 sc400. It was hit on the left driver side, but it is now fixed and painted. Just got it back on wed.
I had my friend painted the same spruce silver color. Sorry, on pix of before, but here is the after pix. It is all stock except for bushings. No mods yet.

This is my other sc. it is a 1995 sc300 auto pearl white. No mods yet. I have a set of espelir wait to be installed. I will put them on as soon as I get me kybs.There are still a lot of work that needs to be done.

My name Dan, people around here call me Dan Dan The Lexus Man, apprently not many Lexus's owners here. Im 20 years old, and i bought back in feb, a 1992 SC300. From the start, it needed- a tuneup,valve cover gaskets, 4 tires, 2 front lower control arms, power steering line, bushings for rack and pinion, one headlight bulb, had a bad ground(car would randomly stall or everythign would dim), interior- fornt seats torn, driver side door panel practically ripped off from door, passenger panel small tare, no radio lots of random random AV plugs apprently for an amp. front speakers blown, antena broken, a small crack on the windsheild but its in the black part near the hood so you dont even notice it in the car. Cluster guages-spedo and tac and therm needles lights were burned out. Other then all those porblems its a great car. I know whats under the hood, and im happy im the only one aorund my area with one. But dam lots of money to put into it... so far i could afford one control arm, bushings for the rack which detoroated from p/s fluid, $10 bosh iriduim 4 plugs and valve cover gaskets. hopefully as soon as i sell my jeep and camry ill be able to afford all the cosmetics and then get into the fun part , like swapping in a 6 speed tranny if thats possible. but well see how it goes. ill get more pics of this project of mine. oh and i bought this car for $2550 with 135000miles on it. It came with 18inch Arellis rims on it but bought soarer rims off ebay for winter use. But other then the money involved in it, i could do all of this on my own , im going to college for Toyota/Lexus so im in good hands
