Hey everybody, my names Bryan and im new to this forum. I've been looking into this forum and a couple supra forums lately and it has pulled me from the honda game. Since doing my research I have completely lost interest in my honda and hondas in general. It's time to get into a car where my money is better spent on parts that get me results (2jz). Last week I made the decision to finally get off my *** and find a car to start working on, and 1 day later I found the car I'm gonna purchase. Its a 93 lexus sc300 with 120,000 miles and auto trans. The guy is gonna take my 92 honda civic hatch and 1500 on top. The paint is perfect except for a small spot under the window thats faded and the engine bay is flawless. I plan on doing a 5 or 6 speed trans swap, coilovers and rims in spring, and engine work from there. You will be seeing alot of me in this forum. Cant wait to get involved in the sc300/supra crowd. Thanks

Hey guys I'm new to this forum, I just bought a black 1994 SC400 for my daily driver. I use to daily drive a 1997 VW GTI and I must say I never want a 4 cylinder daily driver anymore. My other car is a 1993 Nissan 240sx (SR20DET) that I drift and compete in Colorado with, hopefully will do Pro-AM next season. I got interested in the SC's when I saw them drifting at the events here and thought they were sexy and for the price, were a great deal for the v8, power options, comfort, luxury options, as a daily driver.

Hi everyone at Club Lexus. I am a newly registered member from the Denver area. My name is Brent, and I have been a proud Lexus owner since 7/2002 when I purchased my 1995 SC 300. In '07 I picked up a 1993 GS 300, and just recently I added a 1995 SC 400 as my DD (Sadly all are Automatics, going to have to do something about that...). I have lurked around Club Lexus for the last few years for technical help and motivation. Club Lexus has proven a wonderful resource, thank all of you!! Nice to finally be 'official' I'll try attaching a pic of the SC 300 aka 'Soarer' and see if it all flies (my apologies in advance for newbie mistakes like pic size etc.)

Hello CL members and lurkers,
first time Lexus owner here and I couldn't be happier. I picked up my 1992 Lexus SC300 5-speed for $1,500 with 240,000 miles. The previous owner drove it 300 miles everyday to work. Mechanically, this car is very sound. Cosmetically, it needs a lot of tlc (seats, carpet, steering wheel, and guage cluster are in horrible condition). I purchased the SC because I wanted a project and I really enjoy the straight 6, rear wheel drive, and 5-speed transmission.

Hey, new to the forum
Hello,
My name is Paul and new to this forum. Actually, I've been reading a number of threads for a while but never posted anything until now. I have a '92 SC400 with 60,000 original miles which was purchased new by my late father, and now I have it. What a great car! I have other cars as well, but I really love driving this SC. The car is basically stock, with rolled fenders, lowering springs and some +20 18" TSW wheels with 225/45-18 front, and 245/40-18 rear. Front rims are 18"x8", rears 18"x10". A clean car with really nice interior and fun to drive. I'll be doing some minor mods soon, perhaps some exhaust work, and some coilovers. Then probably another set of rims. You all have some nice looking rides!
Peace.

Hello all, I'm Jim
I'm very new to the "Lexus" world, and an enjoying my little SC400. Purchased last Saturday, my 1992 SC400 in I guess what is called "RED" with Tan interior, just shy of 73K on the clock. It's 98% stock, the Radio has been changed, single din Pioneer model, AMP in the right side of the trunk, and aftermarket speakers. Oh, and EVERYTHING seems to work. Now if I'd had only gotten a key that had a working transmitter for the keyless, I'd be all set. Oh well, if it was perfect, I'd have nothing to tinker with. She is currently sporting tinted windows, although I don't think dark enough, and has the Gold Emblem option.
I'm still very involved in the GM world, having owned somewhere north of 20 different Camaro's over the years from my SuperPro Drag Car, a 68 Camaro to one of 600 - 1998 Sport Gold Z-28's with a 6-speed, and just about all in between. I will say, the SC was way ahead of it's time, and I'm enjoying it.
Here's a pic for you members, not glamorous, but about 30 mins. after I bought it.
If the picture doesn't show because I'm new, it's at www.blackgoldracing.com\images\sc400.jpg.
I look forward to being part of the forum, and gleening some knowledge from you guys who have been doing work on your cars for years. I've looked though some posts, and I have to say Kudo's on the detail and specifics some of you guys put forth.
Great site!

Hello everyone out there. My name is Bill and I just recently purchased a 95 sc400. So far I just LOVE it. I'm doing a little body work on it now (made necessary by the previous owner). I live in Florida and have been a car guy for almost 40 years. I'm looking forward to meeting other Lexus owners and sharing info, pics and experiences, etc.

Hi my name is Manni i just got a 92 sc300
I am a high performance machinist. I work for Jba racing in San Diego. So I now officially have an import project. I plan to get as much power as I can NA. And though I'm a muscle car type i r espect espect all well designed and innovative machines. Plus I'd get a thrill out of smoking a muscle car with my inline 6. I'm a graduate of School of Automotive Machinist and alot about cylinder heads so feel free to ask any questions. Happy to join the club.
