Hello, my names Patrick and i just purchased a 1992 Lexus SC300 with the GE motor. its a 5-speed so i felt lucky to get it. the car has 92k miles and is jade green. im still new to lexus but not new to cars. before this lexus i had a Mazda miata with a full cage, 2 way LSD, Tein coilover, Jackson racing superchager. it was fun and all but im moving to alot better of a car. right now the car is 100% stock but looking to do some upgrades. I will be getting Stance coilovers, Kaaz 2way LSD, i will be going NA-T with the car and i also will be getting some rims. im not sure what ill be getting but they will be 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

Elvis is in the building! I'm from Alberta, Canada and have had my '94 SC400 for over a year and it has been an amazing vehicle. Me and my family are fans of Lexus/Toyota, we have a '99 LS400 and 91' ES250. I'm sure my younger bro will find himself a nice Lex as well. As for my vehicle:
Grey exterior, completely stock, BFI mod, 17" Core Racing wheels and Toyo rubber at 235/40ZR17. Unfortunately the owner before me did not take very good care of this vehicle, neglected to change oil and brake pads and who knows what else. So there is a ticking sound from worn valve shims plus a scored and warped rear brake rotor. I've got some OEM spec slotted and cross-drilled rotors coming in soon. Very pleased to meet all of you!
I know everyone loves photos, so here they are:

Sup guys! Im pretty new here and thought id introduce myself. My name is Malek. This is the first lexus i have owned. Its a 95 pearl white 5spd SC300, and yes it took me forever to find. I just came off a lease from a 2005 G35 couple 6MT with nitrous express This is going to be my project car as i will be doing the GTE swap along with the getrag swap. I have had pretty decent time cars in the past. My best being an eagle talon which ran an 11.98 @ 119 @ 5400ft elevation. I hope to further my knowledge in the toyota realm and also hope to help out others in the CL community.
thanks!
thanks!

Hello, I'm Jane. I've got an 1993 SC400 Pearl White. You guys have been a lot help. I'm an aircraft mechanic that doesn't trust strangers to do my work. This site has been great.....I've gotten lots of great info. Just had a friend finish the timing belt and water pump. 165,000 miles and still rocks the road. Time for shocks,,,, See ya in the future

Another 'New Kid on the Block'
I purchased my 1994 SC300 last summer (right after I returned my 2005 ES330 lease - not a minute too soon). I felt it was time to get out of the 'old man' car and get myself into something that fits me better. I love driving it and doing fix-it-yourself type work (I'm no mechanic - but I am having fun). So far, I replaced 1/2 the bulbs behind the dash display, repaired 2 cracks in the center vent, fixed a loose driver door handle (with home-made brackets), unsuccessfully tried to dry out passenger headlight, tightened back-of-seat nets and installed in-dash cup holder. I also put on upgraded wheels - but I find they look a bit small for the size of the wheel well.
Next I want to have the windows tinted (looking for suggestions on color/opacity), install a spoiler and paint front and back bumpers (pretty sun damaged). After that, I want to tackle trying to repair the leather on driver seat and steering wheel. Those should keep me busy for a while.

Hi, I'm Iris, I'm not that new, I just haven't posted here. But yes, I've had my '93 SC400 for 5+ years and am the second owner. Never was too interested in it until I was able to drive it more often. It is a Jade Green and the only thing I've done to it is tint.
Mmm, so far I've gone to an Arcadia meet and met a few people and they've all been nice and eager to help. Until I've made more money and have more time, the baby is going to stay this way for a while. I'm hoping to keep this car FOREVER! THE END!

Hey...I guess I'm somewhat new. I rarely post, but just bought my 00' SC300 2 weeks ago, black on black. Bone stock! But saving up some money to do things to it (not sure what) but the basics; rims and kit. Learning a lot from this forum, hope to learn a lot more!
