New here. North Ms. Just picked up a 92 SC400, I've only got the CL ad pic, but will post more once I get it cleaned up some more. The inside needs some lovin. the front bumper needs proper repair, but not to bad. Runs very strong. sitting on lowering springs, 19's and low pro's. dual magnaflows, and everything else is pretty much stock. Yes the rims are purple, YES I am going to get them redone asap!!. I've noticed a few small things, I've been searching for replacement gear shifter, and saw that most do not have the perf/norm switch at lower left, I think most have there trac control there? I don't know. I'm new to Lexus, But mine does have that there, and trac control in the upper right, along with heated seats. I've got to order two newish door panels from ebay, unless I find them here. It had a miss on #4 shortly after I bought it. Came to be a crushed plug wire under the wire covers. New wires and plugs. Running strong.

sc300 1992 sloppy steering lately
At center the steering wheel moves a couple of inches, but the front tires do not immediately change directions. Tires recent. New ($2,000) front control arms. The problem continues to exist. My three Supras never had this problem. HELP? Fasthands in Atlanta.

Sloppy vague steering on sc300 .
Problem: The steering wheel has to rotate two inches before the front tires change direction. This problem began at 320,000 miles.
Background: My three generation 2 Supras did not do this.
Repairs so far: Tires recent and good. Shocks orignal and good. New ($2,000) front controls arms.
My request: What to do next?

On with Club Lexus
Rolling a 96 2jz with a few upgrades. Pushin 211,000 miles. I'm in the Bay Area. Anyone in Northern California? I will post pics tonight.

hi guys i just got my sc400 a couple of weeks ago and im loving it especially the 5 speed swap any recommendations you can give me on this car is appreciated currently the speedo isnt working and it hesitates under full throttle when its warmed up other than that shes golden proud to be a lexus owner

Hello, im a longtime lurker, but first time poster here on Club Lexus. I recently purchased a 1993 sc300. Great shape for its age, and 231k on the odometer. 5-speed car and bone stock.
