My First Lexus :)
Hi all!
Picked up a 92 sc400 from a buddy of mine. This is my first import/lexus and so far im loving it. Its got 200k miles on it has some rough edges on the interior. And of course the power steering pump is on the way out. But other than that seems healthy.
I have been lurking the guides here and have already managed to remove and clean the ps pump solenoid screen (used the screwdriver method made a video to help show people i will upload it later) i have flushed the ps. And washed it. Thats about it. I will be uploading pics of it when I get a chance.
Thanks guys!
P.s. sorry for the grammar

Hey all!
Fairly new SC owner here, bought it back in June and i'm LOVING EVERY BIT OF IT. I have absolutely no regrets! 2000 with 150kish miles on it. and I've been ironing out issues as the days go by. I've been mostly lurking on DIY's and fixes, which have been really helpful, so thank you everyone!
Glad to be here!

Hey guys my name is Brian I live in Dallas Texas and own a red 1995 lexus sc300. I've been trolling for a long time now and figured I should start having some input. I have been tackling so many tasks on this car restoring it and tweaking things here and there as best as I can. No my car does not have a turbo but I would kill to do a JDM engine swap. Maybe someday but anyways once I can upload some pictures of some of the work I've done then you will get to see beauty!

Just bought my first sc400!
Hey guys! Names mike. I'm from New Hampshire. Just bought a 1995 gs400 in black. Came with 18 inch wheels on really nice tires. Some sun fade on paint. Small dent an the radio doesn't work. But rides beautifully an has a cat delete so she purrs! Has a headlight out but that's no biggy. Has 170k on it and I only payed 1600 for it!! Here's some pics!

New guy SC400
Hello all. Just got a 93 SC400 in Garnet Metallic w/ 123,000 miles. Has all of the normal issues these cars are supposed to have, but it is completely stock. I picked this one up because I was needing a better daily driver than my 92 Land Cruiser. This will be a driver for my wife and I, so it is just going to get needed maintenance and easy mods.

Over the weekend I bought an 92 SC300 with the five speed. 116k on the clock and really clean. Needs some tlc. Sat a lot in its life, but no longer! Lot of great info here. Looking forward to see what I can do with it.

Signed up a long time ago shortly after I purchased my 98 blk/tan SC300.
I've owned the car for almost ten years. She has 222,222 on the odo and she's been bone stock down to junk air filter. Always taken care of and maintained. Just an old stocker.
Last night I ordered wheels, tires and coils. Finally. Glad to be here.

Hi everyone, just bought a 92 SC400 last week. I had been in a wrx and was sick of making payments. Wanted to get into something I could buy outright and not feel like penalty box to drive every day. Really wanted something rear wheel drive and a v8.
I'm in with love the SC so far. I had planned on getting a later model year one but I found this 92 with 129,000 miles and when I saw the shape it was in I knew I had to get it. It's nearly perfect inside and out. After coming from a manual WRX the comfort and ease of driving this thing is really refreshing. Plus no one would think it's a 22 year old car.
I'm looking forward to learning about this car and keeping it clean and on the road for another 129k.

Hello CL! I have been a silent spectator on this website for months, but now that I just purchased my 1998 Sc400, it's time to join!
I bought the car TODAY, on my sisters 24th birth date at that. Barouque (I think that's how it's spelled?) Red Metallic. Just made 99K Miles, has all service records until recent. Bought it from a gentleman named Angelo. He is a mechanic, so the car was well cared for and purrs like a kitten. Has Coil Overs, Borla Mufflers & a few other bolt on's I can't remember (add deleted off CL). Getting full bolt on list tomorrow.
I was just in the market for a Sports Car. I almost got a 2004 G35 Coupe that was also in the price range, since he was NEEDY of the funds. But I am pleased with my purchase. Original EVERYTHING. All electronics work, interior flawless damn near. Paint is also nice. Only issue is a VERY small dent on the passenger side quarter panel. Didn't even notice it when I first looked at it. I will probably fix it this summer. Bothers the HELL out of me, because I love my new wife... Plus being a perfectionist ...
But considering the condition and Mileage, I feel at $7000 it was a steal! Lots of smooth power and great build quality. Very solid. The previous gentleman I mentioned, also owns a 500+ HP M3. I can tell he loved this car. Was a pleasure to take it off his hands!
Yes, my first Lex, so any tips and or questions are welcomed!
Don't mind my Fiance. Video coming later.
