I would also like to know the offset. Must be high in the rear not to rub.
I definitely would like to go wider in the rear. My vvti. Easily cooks the tires on the 17s. Luckily I haven't gotten an LSD yet. I'd be everywhere lol. Might weld the diff until the summer.

TBH he told me they were Fikse but doubt it they are probably reps but nonetheless look great on the car, got the car for a VERY good price and doubt he would let those wheels go that low as you said lol

Hi guys,
I've been a Lexus SC400 owner since 1995 when I bought my first SC with 19K miles on it ('94 spruce/tan). It finally died after 19 years and 459K miles. What a sweet car that was. It probably could have been revived (oil got into the driver's side bank of plugs and had a leaky radiator) but figured it was time to give up the old girl. Recently I found an exceptional 2000 SC400 in Millenium silver/black with 112K miles and completely stock. The only thing it didn't have was the Nakamichi system but the Pioneer sounded decent. One of the reasons I hung onto the '94 for so long was (aside from it being a trouble-free car) because I loved the Nakamichi system. I consider myself an audiophile with a nice home audio system (Wilson speakers, Audio Research electronics) but the majority of my listening was in the car. What a sweet midrange the Nakamichi system has.
Getting a "new" car is like getting a new house - you want to upgrade things and customize to your tastes and needs. My plan is to improve the sound system with a Nakamichi retrofit (I know this is really hard for the 1999-2000 model years) or new speakers (e.g. Dynaudio 242 2-ways) in the front. Wheels: Supra TT polished wheels - timeless, a bit retro. Suspension: slight lowering with Eibachs and KYB shocks while mostly retaining the stock cushy ride.

There are so many high end double din radios that would give you the control you need, and of course manufactures of quality drivers that im sure you will find a quality solution to your audiophileness! good luck on the journey!

New Member to CL!
Hey Guys,
My name is Greg and I am a new member to the forum, but have been looking at various CL forums for my troubleshooting problems. I am the proud owner of a Super Red 1995 Sc300 5 speed, I picked her up from an older gentleman in the Washington area. When I got her 3 years ago she had 150,000 miles on her and was garage kept since day 1, with receipts, maintenance records for everything. As of right now she is my daily driver and has a little over 207,000 on the odometer. I have done a few modifications to her such as an OBX header with straight 2.5 in exhaust to dual 4 in N1 tips, I have a wise lip on it and I love the aggressive look that it gives the front of the car, and i also have some wheels on it, but i am getting new ones in the next week. The setup im running currently are some Chrome Adr m-classics they are staggered with a 19x8.5 +32 up front, and a 19x9.5 +35 in the rear.

After many years searching and lurking I've finally found one!
1997 SC300 with 163k miles and I love it! Picked it up about a week ago and everything is good except for the drivers side window motor and the PS pump.

You're not understanding what offset means. It determines how far a wheel is outwardly. If too low, won't fit without rolling the fenders & sometimes even pulling.
I'm assuming with the stock fenders the offset is high. Maybe a +40ish?

I know what offset is sorry didn't read the question right i was on my phone and Yea should be its not low unless I would be rubbing a lot and fenders aren't pulled or rolled, maybe 35 or like you said 40. person didn't tell me offset of the wheels when I got the car

Hey all, My name is Brian and I'm new to the forums. I just Picked up a 1999 SC300 for a project car and am looking to swap it to a 2JZGTE. I have some experience with the non turbo 2j's and1JZ motors but this will be my first 2JZGTE swap. But first I'm going to get the car back up to par since the front end has a little damage and the suspension is very bouncy.

Wasup everybody. I'm new to the Lexus scene and would like to drop by and give an introduction. I'm not new to modifying cars just new to the Lexus community. I own a 95 sc300 and love it. I've heard good things about the Lexus community and I'm pretty excited to finally become part of it. I'm located in the bay area.
