ive been a member for a while mostly doing research my name is ronny im 20 years old and im from orannge county ca. purchased a black 1996 lexus sc300 factory 5 speed. I bought in October of 2014 i was into grip and circuit racing, and want to try drifting. So i got a sc to start i know i could've gotten a 240 but the heart wanta what the heart wants. So far its bone stock besides me taking out the backs seats, gutting the the trunk, megan toe and traction arms, tien ss coils, intake, supra ttbbk in front, sparco drivers seat, 18x10.5 miro 389s in front got the full set and crown vic in the rears as drift spares full ser of four as we'll, and stock wheels too. recently went to horse theif mile, at wilow springs race way in rosamand, ca in feb.currently looking to purchase a "auto supra tt pumpkin with 2 way lsd" still need to open it to see if ita the real thing before i buy it.
What's up guys I just bought my 95 sc300 a few weeks ago, pretty stoked on it. It's got a 2jzgte swap which also makes it my first boosted car haha. I'm posting this from work so I don't have any pictures at the moment.

Hey all, just upgraded from my beater swapped 95 celica to a 97 SC400 with 160k. Sapphire blue with supra TT wheels and fresh Continental DWS all around (after blowing one on the way home from the lot). Got a half-arsed stereo and paint job, leaky rack, and new shocks are on the way. Let the fun begin! For now a pic from when I picked her up.
Hey guys hows it going, just bought a 96 sc with a fairly clean body and a blown engine for a couple hundred bucks, plan on getting it back in running stock condition and then putting back for a swap. Look forward to being a part of the forums. Only got one crappy pic I'll take some more soon to post.

Long time Honda/Acura fan, but due to injuries in the military and subsequent medical retirement I am looking at the Lexus/Toyota community now. I am interested in either the SC300 or GS300, depending on which is the easier 2JZ-GTE swap..... I have looked at both and can't decide..... I know the JDM 2JZ comes from the Aristo, but DAM the SC300 looks better to me.... I gues it comes down to preference, but some input would be MORE than welcome. And yes, my wife doesnt care if I build a car, as long as she gets her "70 Chevelle 454 in the end
