Hello, my name is syd and I've just recently purchased an 1992 sc300 not too long ago. I've had the car for about a month and a half now and I'm pretty satisfied with the car. I purchased the car for kinda expensive but I felt like I got my money's worth. When I first got the car, it had tan interior and it was pretty beat up. It had a 92 body all around and i found out that the owner had black interior and the 97 conversion. I purchased the car for $5000 with 250k miles on the body and 90k on the motor w/ papers. I had to pay an extra $2k for the black interior and the 97 conversion. The car is a 5spd and it was just what i was lookin for.
I heard about this forum from a couple of friends and just wanted to drop by to say hello. Its too bad none of my friends have sc's..they're really great cars...
anyways...I havent got a chance to take pics of my car yet because my camera just broke recently and havent got a chance to get a new one...but hopefully ill get pics posted up soon...
ohh yeah...I'm also interested in getting some coilovers soon..which would you think would be the best for my new sc? Tein SS or the KSport control pros?

new to the Club Lexus and just got a sc300
i just bought an 1992 sc300 about a month and a half ago and im pretty new to it. I heard about the club lexus forums and just thought i'd drop by and say Hi.
I think i kinda think i got ripped off a little bit on the price but its fine. I got the car for $5000 with a stock 92 body with tan interior. I found out that the owner had black interior and a 97 conversion as well and i was interested in purchasing it. I added $2000 more for the black interior and and the 97 conversion but i found out that i shoulda went with the auto couture kit. My car is pretty much stock just with the 97 conversion and im thinkin about what i should do next. I want to get coilovers for them but don't know which ones are best for the sc300. Can u guys help me out a little?
anyways..heres a pic of the car...quality is bad though cus its taken from a camera phone
