SC400 for sale, any takers?
Selling my Lexus SC400 with 4 liter V8 and it has only 134,000 miles on engine and one previous owner who kept in garage, runs like a champ and is just newly inspected. Tires are brand new less than 100 miles on them, also has had the alternator rebuilt as well as a set of custom LED headlights installed. AC might need recharged and the 12 disk CD changer is also needing replaced but those can be found pretty cheap online if you do some searching. Asking $5000 OBO or trade for a decent truck in the Chevy family. Preferred C10 or K10 pickups. Yes this is a copy paste from other sites iv got er up on lol. Sorry im a newbie trying to sell something but i figured someone on here might appreciate it more.. or possibly point me in a direction where i could put it up elsewhere.

Hi all, I thought I had posted in this thread years ago but it appears I haven't, so here I am.
I have a SC400 1UZFE 4ltr
Its been with me for 11 years and I love it.
Just over 350KLM or 217 Miles
I have had various things break but outside of the frustration of trying to find parts and information I still love it.
I never realised how much info you have on here. I don't have a very good internet connection so haven't been able to just browse around. Data limits etc.
Had a few of the standard faults with this car,
Coil packs, Alternators, ECU for fuel pump (under warranty so it got replaced.. sweet!) car heater and air con replaced.. boy that cost me a bomb. Others mention ECU but I have been lucky there or the previous owner who was the importer for these cars may have already fixed it.
Had a great read of OLT re steering pump and how it can lead to smoking engine.
I have accidentally stumbled across this very thing when I was replacing the very brittle (chalk like vacuum hoses - are there guys on here old enough to know what chalk is!)
I previously wrote up my intro and pressed the wrong bloody button and lost it all. DOH!!
A couple of photos of my best and only ride.
Lexus Badged
Sexy - BBS wheels and driving lights hidden in the grill
All Lexus badges. It does have a number plate, I just removed it for the picture.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Eddie and I'm located in California. I the proud owner of a pre-loved 1994 SC300. I purchased the vehicle from the original owner, an older women whom kept the car garaged and well maintained! It only has 118,000 miles on it. The vehicle is completely stock, but not for long. Here are some pics of how the car currently looks. Future pics to follow!

Hello! I've been lurking on the CL forum for a few weeks, as we just got my wife a 1993 SC300 in Garnet Red. She loves the car, as do I. I must compliment this community for its level of activity. I had posted a couple of questions on another Lexus forum (to remain nameless) and was surprised at the lack of response -- to me and to many of their posts. Looking forward to many years of your expert advice and personal experiences. --Jeff

My turn. Just picked up a 1993 SC300. Few items to straighten out and look forward to figuring it all out with some help from my new friends here.

Be careful, though, when you go to clean up the engine (which looks quite dusty in the picture). The 300s inline 6 collects water around the spark plugs so make sure to blow out any water that gets trapped there.....

Hello, let me introduce myself: I'm living in The Netherlands and I bought a 1996 SC400 last month. My SC400 was imported new to The Netherlands and only has 55.000 miles on it now. The car was stored at a used car dealer's private collection from 1998 -2010. I bought it from the guy who owned it since 2010. He had the timing belt replaced and several other maintenance items.
The car looks and drives great. It's great to see such a lively forum over here with a lot of maintenance tips for a very rare car in The Netherlands where I live. I have some issues with vibrating front brakes and some other small things to sort out, so your help will be greatly appreciated.
