Hey everyone. I recently bought a 92 sc300. It's black on black with a
5 spd. I will include a pic later today. I'm at work and don't have one on hand. My car is lowered about 2.5" on coilovers on 18" wheels. I love it but the kId that had the car before me neglected it. So it is having a couple problems.
(1) my driver seat just stopped working. I can hear the motors clicking when I use the controls to move it. But nothing happens.
(2) I just bought 4 new tires and went to get the car aligned the shop told me my rear lower controle arm on the drivers side is bent and the bolt won't tighten all the way down. Since I need to replace the control arm im wondering if I can just buy a camber kit instead of buying a new stock controle arm? Will that fix my problem?

I haven't found any camber kits for the sc300/sc400 I would recommend just replacing the control arms with fully adjustable arms, it will improve handling and it will allow you to control camber, also if he abused it chances are the other arms are going to have problems too

Default 1995 lexus sc300

My name is Daniel, I have a pearl white 1995 Lexus sc300, ok...car turns over just fine, fuel pump produces pressure and I'm getting spark. What might be an alternate reason for not starting...my theory comes to the crank position sensor?

Hi I'm The Ikon... I've been a member since 1999-2000 before the board change over and back when my uncle Larry a welder made probably the first MAF adapter for my K&N filter for the SC4..!

He made a few that I have to members here.. The good ole days. It was steel that he used thermal paint and it was the sweetest sound ever...

I'm back in the 3ZX scene but my girl is looking for a LX, but I'm trying to convince her to get a LS460

I'm a re-Newbie 😎

I recently purchased a 2002 Lexus SC430.
Royal blue with black leather interior.
It has 116,00 miles but in great condition.
So far have done precausion maintenance: Timing chain replaced, Water Pump replaced, squeek in steering column fixed.
Went to have new tires put on and when I stopped for gas, the hardtop suddenly opened all by itself when I started the car. Was able to put it back up, but didn't seem to lock in, so put it back down then put it back up and it locked down.
Went to tire shop and when they started it, the top opened on its own again. When I got home the top would not go up when button was pushed.

Someone has told me the luggage cover has to be securely anchored and the strap on it with magnetic end has to be attached to tire or luggage cover. There is no spare tire and it has been working fine up til then. I am asking if anyone has experience anything like this and can shed some light on what I need to look into.

Hi Guys. I've been lurking here since 2009. This is my first post. I'm currently shopping for a SC3/4. Let me know if there are any out there. Must have:

2jzgte, manual, excellent condition. Willing to pay top dollar for the right car up to $18k.

No track only cars.

Hey SC family, I picked up a 1995 sc400 today. I absolutely love these cars. Had one a couple years ago, sold it and I just had to get myself another one. Something very special about these cars. As for plans for this sc, not sure yet. It probably won't see more than 100 miles a week. I got this for a great deal. It needs work to get her running right. I will research and maybe start a thread to help me in the right direction.

Hi. Im in central Indiana. i just bought my sexy lexi about a month ago.
it's green tan interior. Everything works, bone stock. 126k miles. Rear control arm mount was busted. Installed new rear sub-frame at my shop. I've got very little money into it. I see these things with twice the mileage asking 2500-4k. The exterior has some dings, looks like the paint may have met a key at some point. The paint though is still glossy puts out a nice reflection. Interior is decent aswell some cracks in leather nothing super bad. My tach and odometer needles don't light up.

Whats a fair price to sell it?
