Finally got my project running lol
I was about to give up and sell it too. Decided to give it one last shoot at finding the misfire and finally found it. So im keeping it now hahah
This is my 97 sc300 that i bought off a buddy for 1k. Yeah you read right 1k, but he let a customer test drive it and smashed the front end, so i fixed and had old painter spray it. Came out clean but right after it was painted it decided to run crazy rich and nothing seemed to fix it. So it sat at the shop untouched fpr over half a year until today when i dedicated some time to get her running, and this time she came back to life!! It has 170k but exterior is clean and interior is too. Besides the driver side seat leather, it will need a to be redone. Here are some pics i took after a quick wash. Im going to drive it as is until i get the 2jzgte in there. Cant wait for that swap

Hi. After owning, then selling my 56 Ford after 12 years, I was looking for something that was collectible, comfortable, classy and classic. I just bought a '93 SC400, 62k miles, clean and nearly mint (couple of rock chips, only, and a bad mirror control module). I look forward to chatting with folks that know these cars. Cheers, all.
PS: I have spent a LONG time to find a proper service manual for the SC400. I noted in a forum in here some where a link for a PDF download: which, due to the age of it, is no longer functioning. Does anyone have a new link or has the pdf's? I'll reciprocate somehow if you do. Thanks.

Been keeping up with the forums for a while now, but never made an account. Got really interested in a 5 speed sc300 and have been searching to death to find the right one. I'm from/live in Atlanta and currently have a '97 3000gt, but really hoping to be a Lexus Owner shortly. Had the opportunity to drive a '97 5 speed and am very sold on it. Hope to get to know all of you!!

Been a member of the forum for a couple of years when I first got my car, but have never posted. I've got a 93 SC300 Auto with 202k miles. Its been garaged kept its whole life, paint and body is as good as it gets for car of its age, and is completely stock. No plans for anything major, just minor tweaks and updates. I'll leave the heavy modding to the other brave souls!

Hi, I'm Ted, I've been lurking around for a few months since I've gotten news that my first car is going to be a 95 SC400. I've finally gotten to see it for myself now that I'm back from college, and it's as nice as the reviews say!
I'm not completely satisfied with the exterior due to uncanny resemblances to my dad's 97 taurus, so I'm considering new rims, bumpers, and repainting it white. I'd be gratefulif you guys could guide this poor college student through this process!
something about the color, rims, round form and the inner highbeams reminds me of my dad's taurus...

Hello everyone!
Hey there CL! I've already lurked for a few weeks picking up tips and tricks but I finally made an account this morning. I bought a 1993 SC400 in Royal Jade/Tan with 98k original miles about 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely obsessed with this car! I've already made a few modifications and THOROUGHLY cleaned out the interior (it was smoked in although the interior doesn't smell). I'm looking forward to posting more and although I'm sure I won't be able to lend any expertise I'll certainly help out if I can!
