I am a new member here on ClubLexus and a future SC300/SC400 owner.
I have loved the way the SC coupes looked since I was young.
My current car (2g DSM) is not the most reliable daily driver. The time has come to upgrade to a more elegant and still affordable mode of transportation.
Long term goals will depend on which model I get.
SC4-Drag set up
Most likely going to supercharge the 1uz
Methanol injection
huge stall
LSD
coilovers
slicks
SC3-Street/Strip
1jz swap
methanol injection
manual swap
LSD
coilovers
or
2jz na-t
+ same as above
Of course all of the proper modifications would be addressed such as fuel, AFR corrections, etc.
As far as the appearance goes, I wouldn't modify it one bit. (other than suspension, and wheel package)

New to CL... got myself an SC...
Wasup fellas.... I have always been interested in an SC and I finally got one...
It is a 92 SC3... I am sure you guys can distinguish the rest... Looking forward to making this a nice DD with performance...
BTW - I moved over from the Nissan world...
Currently sits on Supra shocks and supra tein springs... need to get me some coilovers pronto.. I should be getting the Teins CS very soon.. Already looking into some better stopping power with the LS400 upgrade..
Yes.. it is an Auto...

Welcome my friend, That's a lovely looking car! Although you're like the 19th person I've seen who likes to sport stock Twin Turbo Supra rims on their SC.
P.S You should've tried to get a '95-'96 model, since they already have foglights, sexier tailights and have glass highbeams instead of plastic ones...But good choice nonetheless.

couldnt agree with you more... I wouldnt say sport the wheels since I just purchased the car, with the wheels.. hmm... my car has fogs so, I am ok. The headlights and tails, I believe can be swapped over. So no biggie... Appreciate the intel and the compliment, though...

Hi everyone,
My name's Roby, former AE86 corolla owner, still have a project shell, but just picked up a project 1993 SC400. Payed $800 and it shows, trying to get it running right now, we think it's the TPS causing havoc. Needs paint and the interior could use a once over, but just a coupe tiny spots of rust which makes it a great car to start with. Hoping to become an active member of the community.

Recently picked up a mint '97 sc300 w/ 74k on the clock for my new 'beater'. Always loved the styling of the SC and the interior. This car is impressing me so far. Great forum and people on here.

Hello, my name is Joey, just bought my SC300 a couple of days ago. Have done my research on the car for about two months and wanted this car since then.
Was very surprised on the cars feel when I first drove it and I love it!
I have always been into cars especially Toyotas so I would like to make this forum my new home. I am going to gather all the information I can, and become a regular here with all of you other SC and Lexus people.=)
Great Forum!
Thanks!!!
