Hello everyone, names Phunk and I own a 93 SC400 that I use as DD.
No mods as of now but want to start out with the BFI and maybe a
slight drop. Look forward to learning from everyone on here since I
am a noob at working on vehicles but I hope to do most myself so there
will be a lot of searching and silly questions from me.

Whats up everybody? Im so happy to finally be a member here @ CL. Ive been looking on here for a while, I just didnt have a Lexus yet so I didnt join up but now I do. I just bought me my 1st Lexus SC300, I dont think it has hit me yet that I finally own one. I have wanted one of these cars since I was 16years old. These cars have so much potential and out of the box they are great cars. I plan on doing the usual 2jzgte swap w/ a single, wheels, suspension, and hopefully the AutoCouture kit. Im gonna try to get pix up asap.

New guy from FL--trying to find OEM wiper blades (the aerodynamic style) for my 99 SC400. Would also like to hear from fellow SC400 owners about issues, tips, etc.

Finally! I am a member of the elite Lexus community. After owning a 98 Eclipse GSX and a 90 Eagle Talon AWD turbo, I now own a 99 SC300
Here's a few teaser pics, havent had time to park her and take some really good shots, but you get an idea.
untouched!!!:
I'll be the first to admit that I do miss turbo-AWD, and both of my DSMs were so much faster than this SC. But I just cant get over the comfort and possibilities with this Lexus. I look forward to getting to know the Lexus community

Obvious newb here. 24 yr old cracker with an import passion. Currently working with the Miami port on importing older Japs, including my future '93 Soarer.
I got lots-o-questions, but I'll add those to other forums.

Another Newbie in the Pack!
What up everyone. I've been a fan of the CL forums for about the past 6 months. I've owned BMW's for years and finally decided to make the switch to a SC400, a car I've admired since seeing the concepts as a teenager.
I eavesdropped on the forum for ideas and advice on what to look for in my search and basically avoid getting screwed. So, I want to thank everyone in the forum for the quality posting.
Today I managed to locate and purchase a 1995 SC400 with 150K miles that is in pretty good shape and got a good deal. My tech inspected it and said its a solid car and just recommended I replace the valve cover gaskets, the rack & pin, and the rear brake pads. The air bag light is on, which he said is one of the sensors. It seems these are things from normal wear. All the other little stuff is just cosmetics.
He also stated the front shocks will need replacing soon, but thats no big deal. That gives me a good excuse to upgrade all the shocks and springs to a 1" or 1.5" drop. Already looking at staggered 20's but undecided if I should just stick with 18's. I'll have to check the thread on that. Oh yeah, a pick of the new hoopty is attached.
