Hey guys, My name is sam, just bought a 1993 Soarer/SC400.
Live in Sydney Australia, bought it as a project car to work on and to be my pride and joy, everyday car is a bmw 740il 2000.
Would love any insight on how I could improve the car, Absolutly love it this car. Nice to join your forum.

I have had my sc4 for about 4months now, have not really posted up too much on here....but i do browse it like everyday an get some really nice ideas for the SC....well here goes I have always been a honda guy owned a 93 accord 10th anniversary edition, 94 integra ls 4dr, then a 99 integra ls 4dr.....the 99 was my favorite....dropped alot on money into it...it was an auto converted to 5-speed(gsr tranny) then i added some bolt ons then a 75 shot to it(ran a 13.9)...then i decided to go all motor...i have a stock bottom end with a built ls head(crower stage 3 cams, crower valve springs and retainers and a slight port job, skunk2 intake manifold) after that i decided to go boost so i traded the allmotor ls head for a complete turbo kit and a built bottom end(arias 8.8 compression pistons eagle rods arp rod bolts and ls head wit all crane head package) ran about 18 psi......after that taught boost was too much trouble so i traded the built ls engine for a stock gsr engine and sold the turbo kit.....and once again i changed my mind...i wanted something wit torque......my aunt had a 97 sc4 back in 97 i remember driving that car and loving it so the search started and i ended up wit my current 96 sc4........here are some pics......

Hi, my name is Dave and I purchased a '99 sc400 a month ago. I flew out to San Diego to look it over and drove it back to Denver. I plan on working the suspension over the rest of this year, get it to corner a little flatter. I like the HP Evos and will probably buy a set of them next spring.

I found a 1992 sc400 on the weekend. Flew out to Vernon BC to pick it up. A real beauty. 49400 original km (30000 mi). I think it has everything including the ancient cell phone. lol.

Hello guys ... I go by Yoshi, I have a 95 SC300, 5 speed. I was on Soarercentral.com before but figured they can't help too much since their all the way in Australia. Friend of mine is always on this site and usually finds me some good threads, decided to finally introduce myself! So, Hello all!

Nothing done to the car other then a strut tower, an HID kit for low beams (6000K) and for the fogs (3000k) a 97 front end which came with the car when I bought 2 years ago. The previous owner didn't take care of it, the hood was fading, as is other parts of the car. The driver seat is pretty banged up as is the arm rest. I am planning to make it a TT and planning to reupholster the interior or just paint what isn't damaged and replace what is and to get a new body kit and give it a out of the dealer look. Heres one picture, will upload more as my computer is having complications right now:

I need more idea's and the best place to spend some money. Too start i got some volk TE 37. Next will be a body kit and some new wheels. I have Tein Flex with edfc already and somw sway bars and that about it. Enjoy the pic's

just bought my new 92 lexus sc300 for 1,500, its a 5 speed which im extremely happy about. its got 2 dents, one on the left door but i should get a new door, anyone have a black one?! and has another dent on the rear left quarter, and i want to find some wide fenders to cover it.

but it was only 1,500 and the engine and tranny shift great. the brakes are really strong and stop on a dime, but the pedal could have a bit more give in it, seems like i need to let out some brake fluid or something. idk.

its a perfect donor for a 1jz swap though seeing that theres no rust actually on the car, and i think its about time to swap the tired 192k mi 2jzge (but it runs suprisingly strong!)


i hope you can help me out with any future probs i have, and maybe i can help some of you out lata as well!

Hello, My name's Long. I've been asked alot of questions about my name, especially from the non-asian women. Which I suppose I gotta thank my parents for it, because it is a conversational piece on its own. But seriously, that's my name...

I've bought my Manual 1997 Diamond White Pearl SC300 w/ 130k through Ebay back in May 2008. Flew one way to Phoenix, Arizona to pick it up and drove it back to Dallas. Drive's smooth. Other than the check engine light, the guy who sold it to me said it was just bad gas, unfortunately isn't. Body is in decent shape. Common interior knick knacks that usually have the common problem from age and wear.

Still in research phase of this project as I've been reading through the forums. Which I gotta start looking for wheels first since I wanted to do big brakes at the beggining.

Along the way so far, I've installed 6000k HIDs in the headlights and 4300k in the fog lights 2 weeks ago. I would like 3000k for the fogs to really give it that pure yellow look, but the white-green start up to pale yellow is cool too and they were gifts.

K&N drop in air filter. Just ordered Red Line Heavy Shockproof for differential, Mt-90 for transmission, and trunk lift supports to replace. Should be in this week, giving me a project to do this weekend...

Brought the car last month, 138k 95 sc300 auto, for $3500. It was a pretty cheap price, i notice it been hit in the front, rear and probably on the side but that all been repair cuz i notice the color shade difference and the bumper paint peeling off too. Overall it runs good and replace lots of interior parts so it looks nice now. Plus i think i got a busted exhaust but it sounds more like 350z exhaust noise.
