Hey, I actually am a DSM enthusiast. My girlfriend has a '97 SC300 and am a firm believer in forums, haha. I plan on taking over the SC once it's done as a DD. So what better time to read up!!

Hey guys, I am a new member currently in search of and SC400. I'm looking day and night trying to find the one for me. I used to have an Evo 8 and got rid of it because I started to get into drifting. I'm currently trying to sell my FD because I love the SC chassis and that little thing called torque. Additionally, the cockpit of that FD is just do damn small. I've never owned a V8 so I want to give it a shot and my plan is to do the W58 swap immediately upon the purchase of my SC. Eventually, I'd like to do the oh so popular 2J swap because it is a childhood dream of mine to have that motor under the hood of my car. But for now I'll stick with the V8 because I will be a college kid with limited funds until I graduate in December of 09 (woohoo!!!). I think that pretty much covers it all. I live in Athens, GA and there are some local drift events around the Atlanta area so if there are any other SC guys out there that are into drifting give me a shout. Just for the record, I am NOT one of the typical "hey lets zip tie everything" drifter types. I prefer a smooth, clean, VIP style drift car. I mean, the car needs to look good sliding right? One more thing, GO DAWGS! (University of Georgia).

SC400/RX330 owner
I currently own two vehicles a 2004 RX 330 and a 1993 SC400 which is my dream car. I've owned it now since 1999 and have driven it close to 100,000 miles. I don't drive it much now maybe 40 miles a week, however I'm still in love. The car is original with exception of BBS wheels. I spent a lot of time within the first few years replacing piece such as the neon gauge needles, some leather, added burl wood to the interior. Other than that the car is in excellent condition. I've thought about selling it several times and just recently was going to trade it for a 2003 SC430 with 9,000 miles on it, however I turned it down. My wife was all for it, however college and a wedding for one of my girl has put that dream on hold.
Although getting a newer one would have been interesting this baby would have left and that was something I would have had a hard time with.
My SC is Gold with a beige interior. It runs like a dream with 153,000 miles. The thing is a bullet.
I do know a lot about getting to things on the car so if you have question I'd be glad to help if I have worked on it.

where is my post?? I told you all about my 92 400 and tons of pics and it went for review and its gone. Such a sad thing. Do I have to repost? Did the pics mess it up? Great to be a part of your site! I bought mine 3 mos ago with 101k for $1250, do you think that is a good price?

1995 sc400. just rolled over 120 thousand miles. I have used these forums to fix my passenger side door before and thought I should sign up because I need some other fixes done to my car that I would rather do myself and I would also like to interact with other owners and see if any problems I am experiencing are common... I am also looking to put in new speakers since my dad blew out half of mine while he owned it =\

Just stepping in to introduce myself. Just picked up a '97 SC300 a week ago. Bought it as a daily driver and came here just to pick up parts & advice. Now, like someone above me mentioned, I'm reading to learn of shared problems & starting to pick up on how to go about doing some of the smaller tasks myself (I'm so far from a mechanic lol). Glad to be a part of things.
