Wassup everyone. I've been lurking these forums for about a month and finally decided to sign up.

I bought a 95 SC400 about 3 weeks ago and I LOVE IT. Its black on tan w/ 135K. No pics yet. My future plans for the car are; Auto Couture kit, rims, and a nice drop.

Is there any meets in the bay area? Im located in San Francisco.

Hellooo everyone I have also been lurking these forums for two years now and I decided I wanted to officially be a part of the SC gang. I bought my 1993 Sc400 at the end of 07 and slowly but surely I have been trying my best to make my car unique. And after reading all of these posts I am finally ready to tune into the performance aspect of this car instead of just the outside. My future plan is to get some headers on this car b/c I already put on cold air intake and I took out my cats and I have my X pipe going back to the exhaust so I figure headers are the next step. I will post some pics this week. Again it’s good to be here with people that are lucky enough to have this car pce…..

Hello everyone, My name is Matt.. I came over from the lexusclubowner.com site.. I own a 93 SC 400 with only 80,000 miles on it. No performance mods, but I have completely redone my stereo system.

Hola. My names Monique and I just got my first car which happens to be a 1990 LS400. Sure she is a cougar but I feel in love with her the first time I started her up Nothing special about her I think no Mods, pretty standard but I am looking for suggestions on how to get it looking and driving even better then it already does.

Im sure you all are experienced and Im a total n00b I know nothing about whats a good paint job or the best looking rims for that year so come-on give me some advice. Dont have any brothers to advise me im all on my own over here!

Hello to you all,

This is Mike Southern California. I just bought a red 95 SC400 with about 130K. Although the car is in good driving condition mechanically, there are a few things that I plan to take care.
1) Replace the trunk strut (it doesn't pop-up anymore)
2) Jamed CD changer-think to replace with a new in-dash after market CD
3) Replace at least drive side seat cover (ideal both driver and passenger)

Given the economic situation, I hope to have them down economically. I consider myself relatively handy and any tips and suggestions on these jobs will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Hello All, I'm Karl from North Georgia. I had pretty much given up on finding a SC that fit what I wanted ('99/'2k with black interior, low'ish miles, pretty clean, and cheap..lol). I found this one at a local dealer and decided to jump on it. It's a '2000 with 102k, and I'm extremely happy with her - less the 22mpg . Plans for now is to lower, wheels, and build an exhaust system for it. Hopefully I'll boost her over the next winter, but for now I'm just reading up on the ways this has been done in the past. Here are some pics:

Hi, my name is James, and while I am not a Lexus owner I do have custodial responsibility for dark green 1992 SC 400 automatic. The car belongs to the GF. She's not really into cars but she really likes her SC. I'm hoping that this forum will be able to help with maintenance and upgrade situations with the car.

Default noob here

Hello.

I just got put in charge of care and feeding of a 92 SC400 Black / Grey.

52K miles, purchased from original owner. Needed some TLC in terms of ding removal and general cleanup (PO was an old lady who couldn't drive well, apparently) however the car has all reciepts. It was picked up 2 weeks ago

1st week: Change oil, flush radiator, paintless dent guy.

2nd week : Supra struts H+R springs, 19x8"/ 19x9.5" HP EVO on black. Nasty drop in front, back OK visible rake but still decent.

Next week alarm, transfer system into it....

Pardon the pics, this is JUST after we dropped it off the jackstands. I haven't even washed the car since I picked it up 2 weeks ago.

Thanks.

The pics don't show the real width of the wheels too well and don't do the car justice. This pic is also before we did a slight trimming of the rear coils to get it to sit even in the back.
