First and for most, BIG UP to Club Lexus! I am Andrew, I've been a member of this site for a couple of years now. I have 93 Garnet Pearl SC300, 1JZ 5sp, Supra Brakes, XXR Wheels. This is actually my 2nd SC, my 1st car was totaled after being rear ended by a co worker (funny, I know). Everyone keep up the good work with your horsepower, ideas and innovations.

A fellow lurker has joined...
Hey guys, name's Laith and I have a dark green 95 Sc300 with a grey interior. My car is completely stock and I want to change some things that I don't like about the car. My car is awesome, but there are a few common problems with her. The blacked out A/C control, the steering column won't tilt, and I am missing my cupholder and cd mag.
Things I intend to do with the car, I am going to college so obviously I don't have cash to throw around for performance boosting. But I would like to have a black and stock light grey themed interior(I want to get rid of everything dark grey) and I want to have the carpet changed to black. Where do I start???

Hello Lexus Club I’m PhillyJ, a new member that’s been doing quite a bit of searching on my 1992 Lexus SC300 which I bought in Nov 09. I’m not much for modifications, rims or anything. Stock is cool, I just want to own a nice luxury car with everything working up to its full potential.
I paid only $1000. cash from a guy in DC Metro area. Great deal. You guys are great, so far with the helpful info from this forum I’ve added:
all brand new tires, replaced my starter contacts due to clicking, new NGK spark plugs, new OEM spark plugs wires from Pembroke Lexus online - $57.28 outstanding, distributor cap & rotor, air filter, oil change & filter, fixed infamous passenger window plastic clip so it’ll go up & down, replaced passenger door handle which was snapped off, plastic welded my severely cracked bumper sanded then painted, spray painted my rusted rims with chrome spray that previous owner left in trunk (lol, doesn’t’ look that bad actually), restored my front seats to prominence with SEM – one word spectacular(!), changed color on my center console, parking brake & cover, all the wood grain & steering wheel to SEM black satin – again spectacular(!), replaced gold GS300 emblem (wth?) with correct chrome SC300, replaced Green shifter seat - 33505-35020 & White shifter bushing - 33548-31010, purchased large pearl white Dr. ColorChip (I’ve yet to use it, body comes last) & corrected a couple of minor dings on the rear quarter panel, not perfectly but hey, due time.
A lot of this was done just searching this forum for help & common sense. Funny thing is none of these changes cost a lot. I did all the work myself and the results are incredible. The Lex is purring & it looks good! SEM renovation I will create a post for that before & after.

New guy here, bought a 95' SC300 a few weeks ago. It is a factory 5 speed with a 1jz swap. The car came from Florida, so it has clearcoat peel on bumpers, mirrors and spoiler. Right now i'm getting that stuff painted and i'm also installing 8000k HIDs.

New Owner saying hello
Hey Lexards, I am a new owner of a 92 SC300 as of monday night. I just wanted to say whats up. I think i got a pretty good deal on it. Paid $4500, I am the 3rd owner with just minor wear. 84,000 miles, Auto (meh). Its going to be my first toyota/lexus iv ever owned, so I am pretty excited to learn this platform.
I am hoping to use it as a daily to get away from using my other car so i can finish building it for the track.
(sorry for the bad quality photos..they are just from my camera phone)
My other car is a 87 Rx7 TurboII
Previously before that i owned a 98 240sx KA-T and a 88 300zx Turbo
