Hello Everyone. My name's Dustin and I'm the proud owner of a 95 SC400. It's the platinum metallic color with the black interior (Most of the reason I bought it). It's got just over 200k on the clock, but still got a lot of life and potiential. I rescued it from an owner that obviously didn't know how to take care of and upkeep this kind of car. It's mostly stock, but such an upgrade from the multiple swapped 240sx's I've owned.

I guess I should jump in, too.
Just bought a 93 sc4. Paid $400 for it, and it reflects. Nothing time and money can't fix (lol).
Car has 184k on it, previous owners were a couple of kids who probably didn't know how to say 'maintenance', much less do it. their idea of fixing it was duct tape the cracked flex section of the intake... and it was done poorly, too.
well, I needed a project, and as far as i can tell, this has a solid foundation for being a good one.

Only Pic of my SC 300 that I bought today. Ill take more pictures tomorrow.
Hey all, My names is Bobby. I just picked up my first SC300 5 speed today. I come over from the Subaru forums. I had a pretty nice subaru until a deer ran out in front of me. I would have fixed the subaru. Being a 02 WRX that ran 12.9's on stock turbo and upped boost was awesome. I just didn't have the money to fix the subie and had to sell it. Plan for me now, is take the SC, since im mobile, find a job and buy a civic hatch. Use the hatch as a beater car for gas, and totally build the SC to kill Evo's and STi's (here in maryland there a lot of ****** talkers) Already have project name. Project: Undercover Supra. Well That is some info about me. Hope to meet up with some fellow maryland SC owners.

Hello, my name is Juan C. I'm new and I just bought my first Lexus, it's a 1993 Lexus SC400 and I love it.
I've been driving Honda cars most of my life, I've been into the Honda racing scene for too long now and I think my age is making me realize that I'm getting tired of the loud exhaust noises and that sort of things, I still own a Honda which I will keep for a while, but now that I got the Lexus I'm so comfortable that I don't think I'll ever get rid of it, I hope everybody here is helpful, I promise that I'll try and get along with everybody here, I'm a friendly guy and I don't mind helping when needed.

Hi everyone, name's Matt, screename is an obscure video game reference and there's a cookie going out to anyone who gets it.
I bought my 95 SC300 in Jul 07, was looking for a Maxima GLE but saw the Lexus first and fell in love with it immediately - not to mention that used maximas are way overpriced since, like toyotas, they absolutely will not break down if well-cared for.
Out of the four cars I've owned this is my favorite. Before this I had a 3.2TL, and before it a 1992 Integra, and they were nice, fun cars but just not as well-built, and not nearly as stable on the road as my SC is. I've driven like a madman with a totally flat tire and not realized until getting to work. In the Acuras, all I had to do was breathe on the steering wheel funny to spinout in a snowstorm. The Lexus, despite being RWD, dominates in snow and ice. I sent it up a 30-40 degree grade last winter that was frozen solid (granted it took major effort, but still I made it without any help). I hope to have this car many more years, I love 80s and early-to-mid 90's cars... it's easy for me because that's what my financial situation usually allows, but there's plenty of advantages of an older car (particularly 1995 and older) I think.

Hey my name is Corey and I just bought a white 94 SC300 5spd. I'm not new to Lexus. I used to have a 95 GS300. I've been looking for something rwd to replace my S14 I sold about a yr ago. I was gonna buy and auto and swap it over. But this showed up and I jumped on it. I had to fly to VA to pick it up though. I saw a thread about two weeks ago from a guy on here talking about going to get the same car. I had already planned on getting it but didnt wanna say anything until it was in my hands. My uncle happened to live about 1hr and a half away so I had him test drive it for me. Then I put a down payment on it over the phone. Turned out to be a good deal. I drove the **** out of it back down to GA earlier today.

Hi my name is Jeremy and I just picked up a black '93 SC300 from my dad (who has owned it since it was new). I purchased it with 156k miles and it's been garage kept all these years.
There are a few minor things wrong with it, but I've already found this site to be helpful in helping me fix some of them. Hopefully the rest of my questions will be answered soon.
Thanks!

Hey,
My name is Alex and i just purchased a 1998 SC400 (Black) Spring of '10. I've been in LOVE with this car ever since i had my first one which was a 1993 SC400 (White) when i was 16 back in '04, but was rear ended at a stop light by an SUV going 60 MPH & totaled it! I've been a lurker on and off of this forum for quite sometime now but now getting more & more passionate about the SC series and cars in general (not about just horsepower and flash but the beauty and the craftsmanship). I appreciate everyone on this forum for posting alternative routes for those of us such as myself that are not made of money and must work hard to enjoy what we like to do.....a little bit about the car it has 95k and it top condition as far as the interior goes but the outside has some small dents, scratches and the person who owned it before didnt know how to use car wax or something ruined some sections of the paint. i'm getting the the timing belt done soon and some other maintenance such as transmissions fluid, spark plugs etc. but after that i will be good to go on upgrades for it and can't wait! very friendly & laid back person I hope i can get along with everyone on the forum and all ears for learning!....i'll post pictures soon of the wreck and my new one!
