Tailight dash indicator dilema.
I'm in a crossroad here...My car (1995 year model) is just about complete with it's 97+ body conversion...All that's left is a pair of '97+ taillights waiting to be slapped on, Since my car is a '95, There are no issues with "Hyper Flash" or "Rapid Blink" and all the bulbs light up just fine, I do however, have that stupid dash light indicator turning on to remind me that there's a bulb failure (Even though there isn't), whenever I step on the brakes (This is when the 97+ tails are slapped on)...My dilemma is, What should I do about it?
A) Spend $370+ on a brand new tail lamp failure sensor module and have it "done right" in the oem factory way (I already know which specific module I need).
or
B) Be frugal and save $370+ and just pull the bulb (aka "Micky Mousing" it) responsible for that dash warning light indicator out of the gauge cluster.
What would you guys do in my situation?
Opinions, feedback and alternate methods not mentioned would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

i personally wouldnt pull the bulb nor would i spend the money for a new sensor
can you pull a sensor off of a car in a junk yard or find one from a parts car on here and save a bit of money?
i have found that having a working tail light out warning light has more uses than just letting you know that a tail light is out. for example, when the alternator is on the way out usually the battery light and the tail light out warning lights both come on in the toyotas ive seen. thats an easy way to diagnose an alternator rather than a battery when the battery light is on.

I have the same issue bud. I'm just going to pull the bulb, along with the airbag one as well
I have to admit, it's pretty annoying with them on all the time. But $370 is a lot of cash. You can buy a new Xbox with Kinect, PS3 with a few games, hookers, blow, black interior pieces, big win front lip, used exhaust, turbo mainfold, or generation 1 transformers and macross/robotech VF-1 planes from ebay lol.

I've reached middle ground! A member here has the exact module I'm looking for...I've decided to spend the rest on a pair of used fog lights in better condition...Hopefully, I can get them tonight.
And Shane, Hasbro was being frugal when it decided to recycle an old Robotech toy and re-paint/re-badge and slightly alter it as a "Jet Fire" Transformer toy LOL! ^^^
