What kind of bulbs are you using? OEM Koitos? Try using Philips Vision Plus or Sylvania SilverStar in 9005/HB3 size, and hack them to fit in the 9006/HB4 socket. They will be bright enough for driving purposes. Otherwise you'd have to convert over to HIDs.

Cops won't be able to tell or hassle you about it. I'm 99.999998% sure about that because almost no cops have any clue about lighting and lighting laws that subtle. I drove around for six months with 9005 bulbs in my low beams and no problems whatsoever.

The 9006 to 9005 conversion is amazing. You will honestly see a difference at night. Your wiring harness will not melt either, beauce its only another 10w.

Go for it!

one of the things that **** me off is people driving with their high beams on. You guys are telling me that you purposely do this? =X

Hopefully the way the projector is set, it wouldn't be as annoying than the actual high beams, but if not ......

Please reconsider doing this as it is unsafe for other drivers on the road.

Default Hahhaa...

I've had high beams in the low beam bulbs for ages. Never got pulled over (just for that...) but when i do get pulled over, they dont look twice at the lights.

The high beams in the low beam projector doesnt blind the other drivers as the beam is pointed too low whereas high beams are meant to point "high" ie.. that's why it blinds people.

Do it and shave the middle tab from the light and put them in. They give a good lighting improvement.

I am a total hypocrite.... I was curious and took off my high beams and low beams. Swapped them around and they both fit. So I plug them in and they both fit. I guess the owner before already did this. So I have been driving around with the high beam bulbs on WOW I wonder how the regular ones look? I was wondering why mines looked brighter than the pics shown with the stock lights on. Oops
