Talking So i got my Injen intake =]

So i told myself that i wasn't going to modify my GE and just save up for my GTE, weeeeeeeeelllll
EPIC FAIL! lol but it's a good fail, I was surfing around Amazon and it threw out a suggestion for me, and the suggestion was.........
Short Ram Injen Intake for a Lexus SC300. Now i looked at the price and it said $330 or sumthing like that, but then it said, "CYBER MONDAY DEAL! Buy it now for $105"

I saw that and went, CLICK...."ADD TO CART" haha no questions asked.
But it's not like i did it just cuz, i actually needed a new intake tube, my OEM one was ripped and i had to tape it for a cool minute. Anyways, i'm just glad i got it, it feels great, the throttle response is great, i was on the 60 coming from Riverside to LA and i hit 100 alot easier than before and i didn't even realize it.

Anyways, here's a quick pic.

It's hard to believe without a heat shield you saw any remotely noticeable gain since you're using the same diameter intake, but now catching heat from both the exhaust and the filter. I had the same I take on my 2jz in my IS3's (both of them) and only noticed a DECREASE in power without the manifold and filter shields. Once that aluminum heats up without the manifold shield it's downhill from there. It makes a nice noise though and seems to convince people louder is faster.

You can use your injen intake for when you do your swap.

That seems like a good deal for that intake. They are usually way overpriced.
