Default Used car dealer wants $9k for a 92 lol

Don't get me wrong, I like to see the SC's with a high price tag from time to time to keep our value higher....but 19 (almost 20) years old with 123k for $9k is a little ridiculous.

And I've been to this dealer before. They are completely shady and I wouldn't buy a radio flyer red wagon from them.

High prices are fine with me, it just raises the value of my car.

I agree, hopefully they get that price and start a trend so the value for ours will go up,

9k for a 92, not likely...but hey, can't knock someone's hustle. I mean for real, I'd like to see the value of our cars go up, but I wouldn't want someone to get a "bum" deal either...My two cents- I wouldn't spend that for it, but then again I believe in stretching my money. For 9k, I could buy a used SC, do a swap and a semi build, plus BBK and maybe home some room for suspension work?

That's not a high price. What are you talking about?

Places locally have some for sale for as low as 4k to as high as 7.5k...I saw one for 8 because it had under 100k on it, and was owned by a family of 4. I dont know what reasoning that has but yeah...that was their validation.

doesn't surprise me at all. We had an SC4 here a long time back with 200k on the clock and wanted like $15,000 for it initlally. They toned it down to $8,000 in the end, but it surprises me how much dealers want for these things. The only real validation for the price is the price for parts and even then it's not that much.

seriously, though, there's a difference between a little high ($6k), and twice kbb.

The day I can sell my '95 400 for $12K, would be the day I'd let it go. (It's just breaking even btw)
