I have a feeling I've seen that SC in the classifieds here, no?
I say don't do it though, that SC doesnt look in great shape and it's just plain ugly too..

Just cause someone calls their car is a better sends red flags? imo the car looks perfectly fine to me, straight body, just owned by someone who doenst have great attention to detail or isnt head over hears for aesthetics. I wouldnt make the trade because it sounds like youre not sure what youre getting into which could possibly be a sign that youre not ready for what could possibly go wrong.

on the other hand... if you dont care much for your civic, why not. The numbers add up. 1-2k for the shell 1-2k for clip, 1-2k misc.

up to you ultimately. just keep in mind there are people (like me) that treat daily drivers like beaters, dont wash, dont baby, dont maintain interior cleanliness.... but still are meticulous with maintenance and wrench work.
