Default Should I get an SC400?

I have someone that is wanting to drade me for my car, but I want to look into it before I make any uninformed decisions.
Here is what he has...'92 SC400, 213k miles on the chassis, but 90k on the swap. And yeah, 1jz swap. Says it's tuned at 12psi for 300hp. Has an exhaust and some wheels. Clean looking car. Says it'd a solid car, just needs new speakers.
I just want to see what YA'LL think I should do. Whatcha think?

What car are you trading him? Make sure the turbos are in good condition on the 1jz.

With that response, I'd definitely say to run far far away from the SC. Owning and maintaining a turbo car is nothing like a n/a Civic. That SC owner better be offering you some good amount of cash on top of the trade for you to even be thinking about it.

to add to this, 90,000 miles on a turbo is very high assuming he hasn't updated/upgraded/rebuilt them in that amount of mileage. I'm thinking he wants to trade for your car since his has become a moneypit. I had an MR2 Turbo and it definitely wasn't as reliable or as cheap to run as my previous Civic Si. Unless you know how to wrench on the car yourself, it can be a very costly endeavor.

I like it, dont get me wrong, and would LOVE to have a toy like that. BUT, I dont know that I want a car 10 years older than mine, with more miles. I am wanting to sell or trade mine, which is how he found mine.

So you didn't see the car in person? I can take better cell phone pics than the ones he posted. The car looks really crappy though.
