Thanks bro! Yeah I tried to catch pearl, as you can imagine, in person, especially in motion looks two times better than on pictures. Im really happy how this paint came out, nice fresh look, diamond pearl is creamy. I got a call from shipping company that my GT35r is released from customs and on its way to me!

The finished product does look great. The wait paid off. Now some of the interior and engine bay. That will complete the thread.

My friend took the engine out yesterday. I blow out the engine during a tune at 1 bar boost.

So I went to Poland for 2.5 month this summer, shipping my GT35R little bit before trip i got it close to 2 month later because customs I was so aggravated, because entire process of going single turbo was done week before my flight back to New York. So next day I picked up car from fabricator (custom manifold, exhaust, IC piping and stuff) I went to get car tuned. After about 3 hours of tuning it on highway, under WOT i noticed big smoke and nothing else behind me... We checked compression and we got this: (its in Bar's)

So I decided to find a new 1JZ longblock, arm it with new bearings, ARP bolts and new oil pump. I really wanted to go 1.5JZ but because of the funds Ill wait till next year to do it right.

Why the engine blow up ? I don't know yet. Two things that I have in mind is:
- I bought used 780cc Precision injectors from here and I didn't sent them to get cleaned, maybe 3 of them were off by like 20% ?
- When I was disassembling stock fuel regulator and fuel rail I noticed that stock fuel regulator was blocked off. In my theory stock regulator was leaking for period of time, knocking, knocking, previous owner of the engine noticed that and did butcher fix just blocking the return ?
- In logs we had small shacking of boost, like curves weren't smooth, just little, really little bit shaky. It was strange for my tuner, as my engine was 20th of JZs that he tuned and he never seen something like that. But we decide to continue tune.

Some pictures of manifold:

Engine:

Exhaust:

Im really happy how exhaust and manifold came out, I have really talented welder out there

Stock exhaust tips are welded on to custom stainless steel straight through mufflers, for more sleeper look. Exhaust is surprisingly quiet as I wanted.

Quick spec:

- 1JZ-GTE
- ARP main and rod bolts
- new engine bearings
- new oil pump
- new water pump and complete timing belt assembly
- new coil packs
- denso iridium sparks
- Garrett GT35r a/r 0.82 anti-surge
- TiAL MV-R wastegate
- custom T3 manifold with runners of same exact length
- Forge intercooler
- Forge blow-off
- Areomotive FPR
- Areomotive Stealth fuel pump
- Precision 780cc injectors
- chinese fuel rail
- MAC valve for boost control
- Ecumaster DET III piggy back with build in 4 bar MAP sensor ( plans for EMU standalone from Ecumaster ) two switchable maps for 1bar and 1.5bar boost
- stock A340E with big oil cooler ( long term plans for 4L80E )
- Mk.IV TT Auto LSD diff ( looking to get taller gearing )

Im looking to get 500+ HP, I will be really happy with 550HP

I hope there's gonna be no snow in Poland this winter because Im dying to enjoy this car! My Cayman S is not giving me half fun that I have with SC

New 1JZ will go in soon, but in mean time my buddy took old one apart and I got few pictures:

Any theories what happened ? Cylinder 6 melted down, on two others there are scratched (maybe ring pockets are broken). My friend noticed that both cams were off by 1 tooth.

Belt didn't slip, but someone did timing belt job wrong before, having both cams off by one tooth in respect to crank. Crank sensor sprocket was cracked too, but seemed to be in right place.

My buddy took apart the engine and piston ring pockets are ok. Those cylinder scratches might be caused by knocking ? Oil squirters were clogged too.
