Your cousin might want to look into a California Car Cover. I have been using one for a couple of years an love it! They are very high quality, pretty expensive too if I remember correctly but worth every penny!

Yep, that's the one I have. It's OEM, but it's made of a different material and I don't know what's the dis/advantage of it over the 'smooth' one.

Watch out with those things, if you're not careful they'll ruin your paint. If the cover moves at all it'll scratch up the paint and if you even try taking it off before 100% of the ice has melted you will rip off chunks of paint.

I'd suggest first searching the SC forum for past threads on this topic... there are a bunch of them.

I went to advanced search, selected the SC forum and searched for the keywords 'car cover'

Here are just a few, many more if you search for them .

I ordered one on ebay it was about $90 and it works fine. It has clips in front and rear so the cover never blows off and my car actually stay dry when it rains.

I have a cover made by California Car Cover. Its been great, they make a really high quality product! Expect to spend a couple hundred dollars, but its worth it!

lol, I was getting it off so I could take my valve covers off in 18ish degree weather and the ice tore parts of the cover off, it's a 2 ply cover well except for those spots :/
