it really depends if your car is stored inside or outside. the outdoor car covers are great for protection against weather, but most will scratch the paint if jostled. if you have an expensive paint job that you want to protect, you will want a cover made from tan flannel. though this kind of cover is very protective of paint, it has terrible weather protection (it has the best breathability) and is therefore only for cars stored indoors. albeit expensive, a tan flannel cover is a great investment and they are almost always car specific, though you can find universal ones if your car has a body kit.

Noah or Covercraft Evolution are good, $150-180.00, I've got an Evolution on my SC3, fits like a glove, for outside ya want a thicker, heavy duty cover, better protection and they last longer.

I've had many covers on my 92 SC400 and the best is the Lexus cover far and away.

Default eBay Car Cover, Fits Nicely IMO

I thought I share. This is not my own sale or whatever. I bought a car cover from ebay, I couldn't come to grips on buying a $200+ car cover. I thought about Pepboys car cover and stuff. I have one for my old Corolla, generic fitting universal car cover that was $60 or so. But I took a chance at ebay. Here's the results:

I am amazed at how this car cover fits, looks so perfect. Pockets for mirrors, too! My mirrors are not in the pockets because I have a replica Vertex bumper and I made the cover stretch down to cover the whole bumper down below the splitter. But if I had a factory bumper or similar, possibly with a lip, the mirrors would go in the pockets perfectly.

I am not sure of the material it is made of but it is shiny gray.

Supposedly this is a waterproof cover. The cover I bought from Pepboys was suppose to be waterproof. After a rain, I took the cover off and my Corolla was wet, the cover absorbed the rain. I have not tried any water on this ebay cover yet.

Really nice! I might look into one when I finish repainting my car. Might come in handy on those 'too lazy to clean garage' nights.

Fits nicely. I had one for my BMW and it was also water resistant. Not water proof. I need to check into this. Thanks for sharing.

$200 tan flannel car covers are expensive because they don't scratch your paint

TheAzn maybe spray yours down with a $#!% ton of fabric water repellent stuff..SCOTCH GUARD! And do so every time it gets wet just dry it down and reapply.
