They look good on the car, great work. Blue goes with the headlight but its a lil too blue from distance (Looks like a spacesc from starwars ). On a side note the yellow parking lights or city lights would look much better in white (found a white bulb in autozone which Im trying in the weekend)

Good work!

Can u elaborate on which wires to tab and whether to ground or not? I was thinking of adding plug and play HID's to the high beams and make em quad. Found a few threads on ford forums and such and they spoke a bit about grounding and stuff but overall wasnt helpful for the SC.

The easiest way would be to make a relay harness and power the hid ballast directly from the battery. It'll be the safest way to power your hids and it is easily reversible.

Here is a diagram I found online:

I'm glad you saved that link Tret!
I posted pics of this in the Ultimate SC thread wayyy back when- but it's interesting to see more people doing the mod since they posted that in May 2009- I think it looks good on a black SC, but not with blue lighting of course... Kinda cheapens it to ricer status.

*BTW, the clear lenses off of the Ebay projector highbeams are a direct fit onto the OEM SC highbeam housing if you dont want to put elbow grease into clearing out the factory lines. (I know this because I've done it.)

While the idea and execution look pretty good, but those blue LEDs aren't going to allow you to see very far at all. You should stay with the whiter colors for high beams, preferrably around 4100 which is closest to daylight. You should take it out to the country for as test.

Kudos on drawing outside of the lines though.

I don't mind them after the first picture i thought it was going to be bad but they didn't look that bad in the end. Where did you get the lights that you swapped in from?

actually it is not. they are a little different. the flange of the lenses are different on the oem and the aftermarket.

on the corners where the corner lights are, they do not mate up to the oem flange where the seal goes through. you can modify it to fit, but they dont directly fit.

i know because i personally did it myself.

+1 for ingenuity. Personally, I can't stand the way they look on the Q45... I think it messes up what would normally have clean lines.

If I had those, I'd paint them black (tint, really) so as to fake people out. Can you imagine what happens when some a$$ in a BMW/Merc flashes you and then you turn around and blind him into a tree?

Another +10 for thinking outside the box.
