First car was a 93 Soarer, then a 97 Soarer (current), 88 Subaru Leone, 91 Cressida, 91 Soarer (current) and late 01 GS3 (current). I have tinkering thoughts of buying a truck or van to tow stuff with and to do my daily commute (120km/day)

One of these bad boys. I never took a picture of mine, but the one I had looked exactly like this. I was 17 at the time.
I thought it was the most bad *** thing ever-- I still have a soft spot for these things!

I had a stock 74 SR5 Corolla in 82-83 --- drove it all over the West, and one trip to Daytona Beach, Florida, via Albuqureque, Austin, Houston and New Orleans, then back to Colorado through the midlands. Then I lived 20 miles into the mountains above Boulder, and drove it up and down gravel switchbacks every day, usually as fast as I could push it on roads I knew almost with my eyes shut --- sideways around the curves, particularly at night, when headlights would warn me of oncoming traffic. Later I took it through Oregon, down the northern California coast, then back through the Nevada desert to Colorado. That was one bi***en car, my first Toyota, and it made me a believer. The 2T couldn't be killed, even when you heard timing chain rattle every start up.
