I actually got them for my Maxima I needed to clear my big brakes
they were exactly 5mm longer
came with a set of 5mm spacers
H&R specifies that if you lugs dont turn 6.5 turns on a 12x1.5 stud then you need extended studs, check that out see how many turns it goes
H&R specified 8 turns on the 12x1.25 (for the Maxima) to get 10mm of load on the stud
H&R calls this the minimum but I think its just abuot where it should be
they were exactly 5mm longer

it gets 3.5 to 4 turns. too little. so on a 12x1.5 thread so to make 8 turns it would need another 5-6mm on the thread(7mm longer would be ideal), so I think I need longer studs.... know anywhere I can get this from?

hmm H&R is the only place I know of
you might want to try your auto parts store, they usually can order them and stuff, make sure to know how to convert metric into standard! haha they usually carry studs in standard sizes

I dont know about buying the studs by themselves- but using H&R spacers is a good thing to do.. many cheaper sets of spacers make alot of noise
I am running 10mm spacers on my Maxima in the front and I needed longer studs but a 5mm longer stud was long enough to give me sufficient turns over stock mine too were only turning 4-5 turns

nono!!! it's knurl ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
That refers to the part at the base of the stud that has some splines on it so that it can press and stay into the hub.
If you have enough room in the wheel, you can just change it over to some 7/16" x 3" studs, those are more readily available in the "knurl" you are looking for.
Just for your information, there is usually a .010" interference for proper fit, so a .509" knurl stud should fit correctly in a .519" hole.
