1992 SC400, started yesterday after I washed my car. I drive then park, go in the house the lights and horn start. I take it off by putting the key in the door. Then I leave and 5 minutes later they go off again. I disconnect the battery now to keep the noise off. What a pain. Any electrical advice?

check your trunk asap. sounds like after you washed your car, water leaked in somewhere an messed up some fuses.

I still have this problem but it doesnt go off when i leave my doors unlocked

mine use to do this.... my harness was all chewed up and wires would touch an cause it to do that. Iwould be on the highway and hit a small bump an those wires would touch an my horn would go off an wouldnt stop until i unplugged the battery or pulled those wires apart.

I randomly started having this issue last year. I had to have the original alarm disabled and get a new one installed.

I've heard our factory alarms do go bad sometimes and that might be the case.

is your car lowered? mine did that when I turned the wheel but that was bc it was slammed and rubbed on the fenderliner every so often. eventually it rubbed and shorted the wires on top of the driver side fender liner.In your situation I dont think its bc of fuses, sounds more like an malfunctioning alarm or what i just mentioned
