Default New Member, New to Lexus. Have a few questions about my future SC300!

Hey all,

As I said, I'm new to the Lexus world but I am strongly considering picking this SC300 up. Names Shane, 22 years old, I live in Northern Michigan and I finally decided to stop dicking around with turbo/fast cars and go for something clean, comfortable, reliable and sporty all in one. So why not Lexus?

Here is the Sc300 I'm thinking of picking up. I've been talking to the seller for quite awhile, he sent me some videos.. Seems like a legit car but I was wondering what you all thought and any concerns? Seems the ONLY blemish is the seats.. Kind of sucks but I have a possible remedy below.

Here is the for sale ad:

http://www.xceedspeed.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=203206

Here is how the car looks now with its new rims and new Blizzaks:

As I stated above, I was concerned about the seats. I REALLY like the interior of the car below. I was wondering if anyone can point out what brand seat covers they are? I'd really like to pick up a pair. I'm really digging the two tone interior too.. Just not sure what I'd do to the back seats to make it all flow/match?

Seat covers/Interior:

Any and all help is very much appreciated,

Thanks,

Shane

That car is an impeccable example of how well a Lexus can be kept. I have never in my life see a Lexus as perfect as that for a multi-owner car, even if he hasn't owned it long!

Purely gorgeous, I just love the way the red looks on that car, it looks like it must have just been waxed, the owner obviously cares about it now just as much as the previous owner!

Great deal for a mid-year SC300!!! I would definitely get it Shane, you will love it! If I didn't already have one that looked eerily similar I would get that one!

I agree!

Check out this '92 SC400 with 5,000 miles!
Too bad it's $14,000.

I'm gonna try REALLY hard not to. I've owned fast stuff and everything but never a practical reliable daily driver lol.. All of my **** has gotten me from point A to B.. But I've always wondered in the back of my mind what was going to happen next.. I've got my rocket for my fast fix to..

RWD and winter though.. I might be tempted lol.. I don't even know the first thing about modding the 2JZ. I hope to keep it that way.

I mean its ok looking but no need to get wet over it. Mine looked far better than that, had less miles when i got it and I paid the same.

The fan shroud is missing.

The cup holder cover is broken

"performance suspension"??? ok springs on stock struts.

The "apexi intake" is just a cone filter stuck on the maf... that is actually HURTING performance. The stock air box was better.

A/c display is bled out

Its not worth the money IMO. Keep looking
