hey guys my black sc 400's hood just totally lost its shine, the paint looks like *****, I was curious as to whether this was a screw up on a place who washed it, or a known paint deffect... Thanks

do you use any polish product? Zaino is the one I'm using. If you feel your car is kinda dry looking, try zaino or other product. It'll remain shine and wet look.

Maybe they used harsh carwash soap and didn't dry it right away. Black cars are hard to take care of.

before you repaint your hood (dunno if you want to do it or not), try wax or polish your car yourself. http://www.autopia.org has many pro detailers so maybe you can ask them what to do.
I washed my car last weekend. feels much better than before.
