Cop arrested someone ontop of my trunk.. now its scratched up -_-

Glad the cop was doing his job and arrested a criminal. However it is very unfortunate that your vehicle was involved. I think the fix should be put on the criminal and not on the city for doing their job.

the officer didnt have to use my car as a table to arrest the guy. its not his property nor his squad car. yes it was the criminals belt and watch.. but it happened because the cop forced him onto my car. im not saying i hate cops or anything, i believe there very important in the world. however these sorts of things happen, and im not the one who is going to pay for it.

today im going to get the car looked at to get a quote then im calling back to the barracks, telling them how much itll cost and if my attorney should deliever it to them or not. if they still wont pay, im filing a complaint with the officer who did it and then handing the whole thing off to the attorney.

also, i dont want to go to the barracks because as advised by my attorney they will try and pressure me or even try to write me a ticket for my exhaust / ride height / front tag.. etc. so im not comfortable going back.

the problem is there trying to brush me under the rug, the location of the accident is a small town with only a few thousand people. its not the big city, heck they brought 5 squad cars for backup for this guy..

state of ca limits their negligence to 6 months from date of incident... get going!

yep, on ki at the weekly meet..

so after 3 days of fighting the state police barracks. im finally moving forward on my claim after talking to a commander in annapolis over the phone. Claim now filed, waiting on my check.

Where i was directed to go to by the commandar NOT the barracks.. when i called the barracks they told me even if i took it to small claims court they would win. Seriously, what an pompous dbag

MDSP of Centerville were tryin to act like it was my fault Trooper Cummings used my car as a table to handcuff the accused. they also asked if i had a permit to be at the park and ride, last time i checked its a public place and you dont need permits.

they said i will get a call in 1-6 business days and usually qualifying claims get processed and paid in 10-15 business days

I certainly hope your claim is "qualifying", whatever that means. In my experience, it means, "not your claim, or your buddy's".

sue them for the PTSD you have from dealing with their bulls&%t!!!!!!

i was at a car meet, haha literally over 50 people watched this happen.

and not yet, they received my claim form ill prolly get a call this week.
