Thanks for the comments, I am my own guinea pig with this and waiting to see how reliable this set-up is through the summer. So far they survived some seriously cold temps, I want to see how they do through the summer heat before calling it a success. So far, so good! The next generation of this will be a cleaner install on someone elses cluster, what I have under the gauge faces is pretty ugly!

yeah i need pics on how u did this. a few DIY's popped up. but yours shows the best results.
i tried getting the LED bulbs. but its spotty. i considered removing the reflector ramps out the cluster. because they actually block the light from the LED causing the hot spots.
