Coolant leak on passenger side of engine
Hey all,
There's some coolant sitting on the passenger side of the engine tray of my 93 SC400. I haven't had a chance to climb under the car, so I was wondering if any of you would have suggestions on what to look out for and where it might be coming from.
TIA.
By the way, this board is great. Learning a lot about these cars

Is the coolant level sensor under the rubber cap, and on top of the reservoir? If that's it, I noticed it was "hissing" and bubbles were escaping when the car was hot. Car belongs to my gf, so I'll check it when I see her...
Thanks

I have that too. Next time you get a cooling system flush, tell them not to "TOP" it off. Just leave some room for expansion.
I have cooling fluid crust all over my engine area now. Is it dangerous/corrosive to my engine parts? Or could I wait until after winter to clean my engine bay?
Thanks!
