I don't think I could handle seats setting any higher than stock, my head almost touched the headliner with stock seats. On the other side my Recaros were so low I could hardly see over the hood, I added a 1" spacer to set them perfect.

 

i cut the stock bracket clean off the stock sc rail and welded it on, maybe if you went with a low seat slider made for the supra it fit nicely, its not much taller, the brackets under the seat sit higher in the rsx

Luckily I'm only 5'10" but I think I have an idea of how to mount them. Even if my head doesn't touch the ceiling, sitting up higher is gonna drive me insanely (no pun intended). I really wish Grant (JDMmuscle) would chime in since he just did the rsx seats recently.

In the second pic the height of the seat bottoms look almost identical.

My new RSX seats are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning at 8:00am. Its 1:42am right now and I can't sleep because I'm so excited. I'll post more pic tomorrow when I bring em home
